  I just bought my new 2026 Honda Civic from Sheehy Honda of Alexandria and couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment I walked in, the team was welcoming and genuinely helpful. They patiently answered all my questions and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. My salesman was fantastic - knowledgeable without being pushy, and really listened to what I was looking for. The financing team worked quickly and got me a great deal. Even the service department took the time to walk me through all the features of my new Honda before I drove off the lot. If you’re in the area and looking for a Honda, I highly recommend Sheehy Honda of Alexandria. Five stars for sure!

  I'm honestly very disappointed. I started bringing my car here after the original dealership I purchased my car from was rebranded. They consistently overcharge for labor, claiming a job will take hours but it's done in half the time. I normally would be ecstatic over this, if it wasn't for the fact they charge almost 500 dollars for basic maintenance the guy at Exxon can do for half. My most recent experience, I call ahead of time and schedule an appointment. The lady on the phone said it was a 120 minute job. I get there at 3 and they say it'll take until closing due to shop renovations. One of the things I wanted was to replace my key fob battery; my battery was dead and required me to tap the fob to the button to start. The tech refused to take my car until I purchased a new battery from the parts department, claiming he did not want to confuse his guys. If these mechanics don't know how to start my car with a dead fob, I am VERY concerned on whether or not they know what they're doing. When they finally take my car back 20 minutes later, after I wait in line at the parts department, I wait SEVERAL HOURS. After two hours I started asking how long. Kept telling me my car would be done soon. 2 hours later I'm the last in the shop. 800 bucks for basic maintenance and transmission fluid. The video I got from the mechanic was talking about something but I couldn't make out what he was saying. My service tech laughed it off and said he doesn't speak much English, and that it was probably recommending a brake flush. Probably? Then this dealership has the nerve to ask me about trading my car in for a new one. They can't even do a good job taking care of my current Honda; why on earth would I buy one from this place? Will never be taking my car back here again, and I recommend you guys don't either. Landmark is 20 minutes away and have better rates for service and deals for sales. This place sucks.

  Really disappointed after selling my Toyota Rav4 2009. I sold it to this shop on Thursday and I was promised to get my check on Saturday by the sales representative Anthony, also he said that he would send me the tracking number of the check. Today is Tuesday and I haven't got anything, just lies every day I have called. Today the same representative Anthony told me that the check was sent yesterday and that he would send me today the tracking number but that was a lie according to one of his coworkers. I could expect this behavior from a small and tricky dealer, never from Sheehy Honda of Alexandria. I hope I don't have to engage my lawyer to get my money

  I had a very disappointing experience at Sheehy Honda in Alexandria, mainly due to poor communication and lack of professionalism between departments. I originally called and spoke with a schedule coordinator before my appointment. She advised me that the best time to come in was early in the morning so I could get my service done and still make it to work on time. Based on that information, I scheduled a 7:00 AM appointment. However, when I arrived, I was told that due to construction, my vehicle would not be ready until around 11:00 AM. This was never communicated to me ahead of time. I was then told by my service advisor, Rashaun, that the coordinators “don’t always know what’s going on in-house.” That is a major issue, because there appears to be a serious disconnect between the appointment coordinators and the actual service department. If I had been properly informed about the delay, I would have been able to notify my job ahead of time. During my visit, communication remained poor. Rashaun said he called me , but it came through as a spam number. I declined the call and no voicemail was left.he said he saw me sitting directly outside the service area, and I didn’t pick up. I said why didn’t you leave a voicemail or come out he pointed to some papers and said don’t you see all these papers I have to fill out! So even though he saw me and I am a customer just like everyone else he decide to not notify me that my car was done or that they were doing emission on my car that I did not ask for. I came in for just an oil change. No one came out to speak with me even though my vehicle was ready. When I saw my car and went to him because NO ONE CAME TO ME to tell me my car was finished. I was told my emissions had been completed and I owed $20 for it — something that was never discussed or approved with me beforehand. There was no prior confirmation or explanation before the service was done. Once I told Rashaun I did not approve of the emissions being done he said he would take care of it but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the situation. The way it was handled felt less like accountability and more like it was dismissed just to move past the issue. I was later contacted by a coordinator Heather asking about my experience. I was unable to speak to her and spoke to another gentleman. I did not receive an apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I was simply told that a service manager would reach out to me. Someone did call me later while I was at work, but no voicemail was left, which made it feel like there was no real effort to actually resolve my concerns. Additionally, the service manager who was supposed to contact me never left a voicemail identifying themselves or providing a way to return the call. That lack of basic follow-up communication reflects a clear lack of care and seriousness toward my concerns. Overall, the lack of communication between staff, failure to properly notify me of delays, and lack of professionalism made this a very frustrating experience. I will not be returning to this location and will take my business elsewhere.
