This public EVgo charging station in Alexandria provides fast charging for all major electric vehicles. Located on 7005 Manchester Boulevard, it's near Festival at Manchester Lakes, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. The site offers 24/7 access, is ADA-compliant, and supports both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors. While charging, drivers can visit nearby shops or grab food within walking distance. Customers can use the EVgo app to check charger availability, track sessions, and view Time-of-Use pricing where available. It's a convenient and reliable option for both local drivers and those passing through the area.
Will these chargers ever be activated?
I would like to be able to use them. They have shown “OFFLINE” since being installed. Why aren’t the open?

Several chargers were out of order. Luckily one of the fast chargers was available. It charged fast with no issues. Would have given 5 stars if two of the chargers were not out of order.

2 stations up and 2 down as of today (8/13/23). 200 kWh capability - but not likely achieved by all but maybe a Lucid Air. The reason is that, while technically capable of producing a 200 kWh rate, it does so by providing 1,000 volts while using a 200 Amp charging cable. Most EVs are able to only take advantage of 300 - 800 volts (even 800v is a relative rare build), so the best rate that should be expected would be 60-160 - most of the time, for most EVs, between 68-72.
Charge rate -
Depends on if you have a plan with EVgo. Uber Blue drivers can get it at .27/min. I get .30. Note: It is a per minute charge - not a charge for energy delivered. That can be a problem if the machine performs slowly.
