You gotta love Maverick convenience stores! I am Mobile for my job and I always go out of my way to find a Maverick if I can. The majority of the stores are newer and clean and the other that are older have been updated so all their locations are consistent across the board. Which is very convenient, anytime I walk into a maverick I pretty much know where everything is located and don’t have to spend my time wandering. That is much appreciated because I’m usually in a hurry. All that being said, I did want to point out one issue I found while I was at this location. While filling my soft drink went to use one of the ice dispensers and that’s when I saw a greenish film of what appeared to be mold and bacteria on the lever as well as up in the chute. The other dispenser was much cleaner. My guess is the one with the film on it probably leaks, but still that’s pretty concerning that nobody has thought to address it let alone just clean it. Out of all the Mavericks I’ve been to this is the worst thing that I’ve ever noticed, like I said generally they’re very clean. Normally I wouldn’t go out of my way to make a post but that is something that could potentially get someone sick. I’m still getting 4 stars because I really do like Maverick convenience stores. (I’ll use this location again, and the next time I come in if it’s been rectified I will change my review to five stars)

I’m a Maverick connoisseur. I LOVE maverick. When I travel, I always map out where a Maverick is at.
This one is a good one. I usually only go around midnight or afternoon at this particular Maverick. (Not saying I dont go other times). (Its by my work). I haven’t had any trouble and workers are usually kind. I saw a review of a worker mentioned as “Maybe named Travis” and I knew exactly who that was. Just sits at the tables every time I’ve seen him.
The only reason I got rid of one star… is because.. the Burritos. 💔 I eat them a lot. They’re good despite the problem. The problem being the potato or rice in the burrito isnt mixed or evenly distributed throughout the burrito.
I’m eating one right now and thats what triggered my review. The first 4-5 bites? HEAVEN. Absolutely perfect. But I got half way and it was just… potato with sauce. Then the last two bites of the burrito was a few meat pieces and sauce. It happens with EVERY burrito. It’s intentional and I don’t appreciate it. It shouldn’t be my job to open the burrito and mix it when I’m paying for the convenience of heaven slapped in a flour taco shell.
I know many people who agree with me. I wish theyd complain but they only leave reviews when its “serious”. As if this isn’t a seriously messed up issue on distribution of potato and rice. 😭💔

Tonight I went to Maverik and my two kids went in to get water. They were charged for sodas instead. When I went inside to ask the employee, Brandee, why, she said she asked if they were sodas and because the kids didn’t answer, she just went ahead and charged them for sodas. These are children—we can’t expect them to handle that kind of situation the same way an adult would. Instead of clarifying or assisting them, she assumed and overcharged.
Brandee did not offer to refund the difference, only a receipt. She never once apologized or made eye contact, and spoke to me in a defensive, dismissive, and condescending tone. The lack of professionalism and customer service was very apparent.
I even had my daughter go in to talk to her directly, and Brandee accused me of being “aggressive,” then spoke down to my 10-year-old, treating her like she was unintelligent and dismissing what she said entirely.
Employees like Brandee should be taught how to provide proper customer service, especially when children are involved. A little respect, patience, and honesty goes a long way, and customers should never feel taken advantage of.

They are liars and dont want to help people who dont ruin the world by eating meat. Mind you I've come to this location over a dozen times with the same order. This exact day and time the man working for bonfire said I won't make you 2 bowls with egg and cheese only. I told him again everything you offer has meat so you exclude hundreds of thousands of people plus you know exactlywho i am and have made me this so many times. He said nope I won't help you! He's a liar and refused to help me. I do every single day to multiple locations and they say don't worry I got you. Print a ticket I go pay for it and go on with my day. I'm walking out none of the employees at the cash registers helped and just looked at me like i'm crazy. I'm assuming its a manager because why show up amd help. I called him a liar!!!!! Thanks for being a jerk. I know you are being lazy rude and unhelpful because the last time I came in you threw a fit and gave me what I asked for. I'm not stealing nor is it coming out of your paycheck so make me what I asked for and stop being a total piece of you know what. So glad you will only cater to people who meat only. I'd give a zero star if I could. Don't tell me the computer won't allow it. I work in an industry that puts me all over the valley. Not once has anyone been so rude or unhelpful. Thanks for absolutely nothing. I'll never go to another. Maverick and bet everyone I know will stop because of this
