  Sadly, I feel as though I was taken here. I went in to see if the mechanic could fix my power steering pump. I gave him a valve, he put it in which cost me $500 for labor. It didn't work, still leaked. I bought another one at Toyota, he put it in but the power steering fluid came out of the top of the pump. He then said, I needed a new pump. That would have cost me another $800. I went to another mechanic and he said, the whole job with a new pump was $534. I paid over $640 for labor without any success at Speedy Lube. They just want your money. He should have replaced my pump for $540 in the very beginning instead of incorrectly assessing it. Now the whole job is $1350 because of their lack of expertise. I have spent thousands of dollars throughout the years with them and they now just lost a valuable customer.

  I came in to get an oil change done to my car, they then broke my antenna and scratched my off-road pod lights. They then informed me that it was not their fault that I had aftermarket lights and a aftermarket antenna, even though the antenna was a OEM part from the dealership. You can also see that the hood was forced and instead of stopping to see what was causing the problem the technician kept pushing snapping the antenna that had metal inside and wasn’t just plastic. Every shop I have been to has been able and more then competent to asses and see what is on the car before doing any service. If you want the “Speed” in speed lube then this is the place, but if you also want stuff broken this is also the place. Before the antenna incident there was my skid plate incident, they broke the top head of a bolt and said they could not replace or repair it, leaving me with a bolt/rod of metal stuck in my undercarriage that had to either be drilled or welded out. They ended up replacing the antenna but in the process a technician made the remark the “you’ll just break it again.” I found that rude and unprofessional, considering the fact that they broke it was also frustrating and uncalled for. Hopefully this review will make an impression on you(the reader) to be aware of the service you will receive at this less then professional establishment. I fully expect a response from the company saying how it was not their fault and aftermarket parts are not their responsibility and they only care of the OEM parts. I recommend you read other reviews and judge for yourself.

  Speed Lube is by far the best shop I have ever taken my vehicles to! JD is the only mechanic I trust to work on my vehicles. I drive all the way from Las Vegas, NV just to see JD for any work I need done on my cars! They are always honest, they give a full detailed explanation of anything they see, help you prioritize what needs to be done first if you are working on a budget, etc. This shop is 10 out of 10!

  We’ve had issues with this location not initially taking responsibility for damage to our vehicle. In this case, they broke a part and only admitted fault after we discussed it. They did replace it, which we appreciate, but the customer service when we picked it up was disappointing. A comment about us “just breaking it again” was out of line, especially since the damage was caused by the shop.
