  After 6 previous Penske rentals, I will never again choose Penske because of the experience here. After hassles, headaches, and false assurances on the phone after receiving a truck from here that was damaged and missing rented equipment, I spent an extra 11 hours rectifying the errors and traveling around town to other rental centers to retrieve the missing equipment. Because I trusted Penske to work into my tight schedule for this move and they caused me this massive delay at my own expense, I also lost no less than $700 in additional costs incurred because of my sacrificed time to fix Penske's mistake and our extreme tardiness in our ability to move out of our home under the original schedule. On the phone, we were assure that Penske would "take care of us" because of the severe problems we experienced. That care they took of us was to refund us $150 after spending an additional 2 hours on the phone with representatives and exchanging emails for 2 weeks. So now I'm writing this review which Penske will respond to with a generous "Hey sorry to hear that! Please reach out to us via our generic email!", at which point I'll reach out and receive another email a few days later saying, "Hey sorry about that, but we did all we can do." Penske Truck Rental has changed drastically from years past when they were excellent. I would have forgiven this if we'd been dealt with as a valued customer, but alas, with only 3 rental truck agencies for self-movers to choose from, it seems that Penske holds all the cards it needs. Sadly I'll never consider Penske again and will discourage others from choosing them in the future.
