Rental car was dropped off at the mechanic's shop where our car had been getting worked on, this drop off was coordinated with Enterprise so that they knew when to go and pick up the rental car. My girlfriend subsequently got an email the following week that said there had been damage on the rental car and they were going to charge her for the repairs. In the damage report, they explicitly stated that one of their employees had picked up the car exactly 20 minutes after we had dropped it off at the shop. We asked for timestamped pictures of the damage and the Enterprise employee said they did not take any when they initially picked up and noticed the damage. I called the mechanic and luckily they had a camera facing the parking lot, they reviewed the footage and said the Enterprise employee didn't pick up the car until the following Monday morning; the mechanic provided us with a witness statement to this effect. We followed up with an email to Enterprise stating that we were now aware that their employees at this location were knowingly lying about when the car had been picked up. Their corporate damage claims department subsequently dropped the claim against us. Writing this review so people are aware of the shady practices at this specific location.
