  Total scam, be careful! I was told I could not pay per wash and had to buy a monthly subscription, which I did. On 11/20/25 I found it impossible to cancel online. I called the location phone number and was transfered to a Quick Qack agent that stated they were in the process of buying out Take 5, they could put in a cancellation request, but did not have access to cancel future charges. I contacted my credit card to dispute the charges since they were denying me any option to cancel or stop future charges. I never received a refund from the dispute and they continued to charge me. Today I felt plenty of time had passed, I called again to cancel, this time I was not transfered to Quick Quack but the agent did not identify herself or the company. Same story, they can only request a cancellation and this is due to the company being bought out. At this point (January 2026) I have closed the card down to prevent future charges as this was the only option. I believe this is a total scam and would not trust your personal or financial information with this company or possibly Quick Quack who I have never been a customer of. Terrible experience and just screams fraud, beware! They have now officially replied (below) that they do not have a customer list. What company has access to your information to charge you but has no access to stop charging you? So this company is taking new subscriptions (Under the name Take 5) but not allowing customers to cancel. Look at their low reviews and you can see this has been an ongoing issue they have not taken steps to resolve. This is not how business buyouts work and I'll be reporting this to the BBB since there has been an official reply.

  This is the scammiest car wash ever. Never buy a monthly membership from them- they do not respond to cancel requests / gaslight you and say they’ll “submit a ticket” and then nothing ever comes of it. I’ve lost hundreds from this “business”, and called 6x, involved supervisors, and nothing happens! They say they’re sold to “quick quack” but then “quick quack” says to call take 5. SCAM

  I’m very upset after my experience today. The credit card machine wasn’t working in the lanes, so the attendant took my card and rang me up. He handed me a wad of receipts and when I looked at them, I saw that he had set me up for a recurring charge. I never asked for this. When I went over to talk to him, he couldn’t fix it and gave me a phone number to call to cancel. I called that number and it just said they weren’t open and hung up. No voicemail or anything. So now after just wanting to get a car wash, I have to track down a company for days in order for them to stop charging my credit card. I’ll just go somewhere else next time. The wash isn’t that great here and definitely not worth the hassle.

  Great experience at Take 5 Car Wash 33rd South. The entire process was fast, clean, and well-organized. John was especially helpful with explaining the car wash passes and making sure everything went smoothly. The staff was friendly and professional, and the service felt efficient without being rushed. I really like that they offer free vacuums, plus additional detailing supplies on-site so you can clean your car thoroughly in one stop. If you’re looking for a convenient, affordable car wash in Utah, this is a great option.

  After exiting the car wash and proceeding to dry and detail it, I discovered my car was clean but was basically still wet with little water drops all over it. In the grand scheme of life, not a big deal, but the blow dryer did a poor job compared to most every other automatic car wash I’ve used. Oh, and half of the vacuums didn’t work. Of course, I pulled into a spot that was not working.
