  I recently traveled to Salt Lake City and had an excellent experience with National Car Rental. I was able to walk right up to the vehicle of my choice and was on the road within minutes—quick, seamless, and hassle-free. The return process was just as easy, and the customer service was outstanding from start to finish. Highly recommend!

  When our group of four arrived at the car rental, we could not fit all our luggage and persons inside the W they had promised us. They only had a 2-series available which is a Front wheel drive compact. BMW’s cheapest vehicle. Not luxury at all. We were required to upgrade to a larger vehicle at an additional $300 for the time period. We chose a Genesis GV 80 SUV. The car was fantastic leaving me want to trade my BMW for it. The return was very quick and easy. Good job.

  Edit: To Christopher at National: I have called, left my information, asked to be called, multiple times today. I was told over and over someone would call me today. No call. I was told earlier today that I would get the credit and a receipt for it. That never came. So I called back in and the credit hadn't been processed. When I dropped the car the tank was full. The manager was there when I dropped it off...he talked to me. Why didn't he ask me about the fuel? He told me I was good to go. Now I am dealing with all of this. Charged me for fuel when I paid for fuel. Now I am fighting to get the charge reversed.

  An excellent experience at the Salt Lake City International Airport location. I arrived at an unplanned time due to flight changes which I feared could impact my car rental pickup. I approached Ryan at the in airport rental counter and explained my situation. Mind you it was after midnight. Ryan could not have been more helpful or more understanding. He quickly made an adjustment and sent me on my way to the Emerald Aisle. My next concern was that at the very late hour I would have few vehicles to choose from. Again, I was pleasantly surprised. I had multiple choices of clean and ready to go vehicles. The woman at the check out booth was equally as pleasant at such a difficult hour. Ryan has cemented my belief in using National as my go to car rental company.

  I've been a National Car guy for many years, and have a good status with them (Executive Elite). I've always had really good service, easy to book, easy to get my car, etc. For a couple recent trips, I had some issues with items left in my car, as well as some mechanical issues. Upon return, the agents at the return facilities said they would let their manager / director know, and that they would provide me with a FREE Day, two of them in total, for the two separate issues. Great news, right! I had not heard from them for weeks and mentioned this to an agent on a subsequent rental at one of the same facilities and this helpful person looped me in to a email thread with 2 senior facility managers to get this "figured out / get me my 2 FREE days". After 3 weeks, of NOT getting a response and nothing showing up on my account, I replied to the email thread with sense of respect and urgency... STILL NOTHING! Here it is 3 months later, and I've heard absolutely nothing on this topic, NO additional FREE days have been added to my account... What Gives National? I don't want to break up with you!! FYI Kevin
