- BCBattle cast33Sep 18, 20255.0Did quick work and good work on the engine block and head and valves and with cleaning stuff, but they wanted to charge 35 dollars to take out a broken bolt... . :( I underestimated the bolt. It took like a day to pull out. I should have used the shop. It was great at the shop.

But when I picked it up, they had the nerve to charge me extra just for removing four bolts—without even asking or informing me beforehand! No phone call, no warning, no heads-up. Just a surprise charge added to the bill. This is shady, dishonest, and downright unprofessional. If a shop wants to do extra work, the customer should be notified and give approval first—not be blindsided with extra charges after the fact. That’s basic respect and transparency. I’m seriously disappointed and angry. Businesses like this take advantage of people who trust them with important, expensive parts. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Crankshaft Grinders to anyone. If you value honest communication and fair service, take your business somewhere else.
