I needed a new headlight bulb. I texted a few places through YELP for pricing and one place (Yay for Jerry Lambert Automotive!) suggested that I go to Autozone. I did and so glad I did. The cost of the bulb was way less than expected and installation was free. Thank you, Amanda!

I am writing to recount an experience involving a pricing error at the AutoZone store located at 3300 South and 1199 East and the subsequent resolution provided by your Rewards team. Store Incident (November 20th, ~9:55 PM) I initially visited the store to purchase a PCV valve and engine degreaser. The PCV valve was listed at $11.49, but I found a cheaper price elsewhere and brought it to the attention of a team member, who kindly corrected the price. I then completed the purchase using my AutoZone reward balance. After the transaction, I realized that purchases using rewards still qualify for earning new reward credits. Had the transaction been over $20, I would have earned an additional credit. To correct this and try to reach the $20 threshold, I asked for a return, which the store kindly processed, especially considering it was close to closing time (around 9:55 PM). I quickly grabbed some fuel system cleaners (which were 2 for $5 at the time). We re-rang all the items, and I used my rewards credits again. It was only after this second transaction that I realized the discounted price for the PCV valve was not applied this time, meaning I overpaid by about $1.50. Attempted Store Resolution Last week, I called the AutoZone Rewards team and was instructed to go back to the store, as the error was deemed "store site." When I visited the store and tried to show the manager the digital proof of the transactions on my phone, they were very discourteous and kept interjecting, insisting they had no record of the initial price correction. I attempted to show them the two transactions from November 20th—one for $18.49 and the final one for $25.00—to illustrate the error, but they did not seem willing or able to resolve the issue. Due to being pressed for time, I had to leave without a resolution. Resolution with the Rewards Team Today, I called the AutoZone Rewards team again for assistance. I spoke with a phenomenal team member named Luis. I explained the situation. Luis initially offered to credit me a full reward credit, but I declined, simply requesting the $1.50 that I had overpaid. Despite having technical difficulties with the internet, Luis was able to successfully credit the $1.50 back to my account, which he said I should see within about 20 minutes. After confirming the credit, I asked if the initial offer for the additional reward credit was still an option, as that would have been a better deal. He said he would see what he could do. I am in awe of the incredible service provided by Luis. He made me feel valued and completely resolved my issue quickly and generously. I am truly appreciative of him and your team. Please ensure Luis is recognized for his exceptional customer service—he is why I will continue to choose AutoZone over any other parts store.

It was so refreshing to be helped by Talia at the 3300 So. 1199 E. branch. She was so helpful with helping with my dilemma of windshield wipers that weren’t working. She helped me pick some out and even helped with the installation. I so appreciate it. Thank- You Deanne
