  We had a late and early flight in/out and didn't have to worry about long lines or weird return rules. We checked in online at midnight after a flight delay and someone walked us to some cars and let us pick and gave us return directions. Return was great and seamless, she helped us unload and made sure we didn't leave anything behind and made that 6 AM flight just a little easier. Night and day from some of the off-site rental's we'd used previously. Great customer service, no hidden last minute fees.

  Great experience. Booked a full size SUV on 20 minutes notice as we were hosting some events and decided we needed another vehicle for the weekend. Pickup was seamless. On drop off we were late for our flight and I accidentally pulled into another companies bay. I ran over to the Alamo booth, they took the keys and let us get going to the flight while they took care of moving the car.

  I rent from Alamo alot. Whenever I'm on Oahu Hawaii, it's always HNL Alamo and the agents there are super nice! I recently rented a car in Salt Lake City Friday 11/7 7pm. I picked it up at airport. Check in agent was not what I was use to at HNL. She was curt, no smile, no personality and borderline argumentative. Needless to say, I will never rent from SLC Alamo again. Her attitude sucked and definitely needs more training in customer service. Please treat your customers better. We do spend our hard earned money with your business. Word of mouth is powerful. Customers gravitates towards those who treats them with respect. Options are plentiful and customers will leave it they feel disrespected.

  Alamo did well in all areas except one. Your sign that identifies your location is inadequate. I suggest you run a test with 10 drivers that are unfamiliar with the SLC airport. Night and rain will make for a better test. Probably your sign for the proper turn entry is grouped with other rent a car companies and is hard to pick out. I had no trouble seeing Hertz and Avis which were single signs, first and last. After two circles of the airport I parked my Alamo car at Avis because I knew I would have to make a third trip around the airport if I did not stop there. I left my car with Avis the whole time their employees were shouting at me

  Not easy to find one of your vehicles to meet our needs. Finally chose the Mazda CX 9 and we made it work. The guy at your checkout booth was practically clueless, but maybe he was just tired, not a good way to start our day. Not customer friendly! The return guy was super friendly! One morning after it rained we had a flood of water come through the roof of the car near the rear view mirror. The water went everywhere, over the console, my jacket and soaked through to my clothes. What a shock. We told your staff about it upon returning the car. Hopefully this can be corrected and won’t happen to anyone else, or remove the car from your fleet. We usually go with National, but you were a little cheaper. We also liked that you were right there at the airport and we didn’t have to take a shuttle to pick/return the car up, that was very convenient. I would suggest having a wheelchair near the rental car return area for your elderly clients, it was a long walk. We used the airport service worker to take us to the car for pickup in their airport wheelchair, but there was no one there and no wheelchair in the rental area when we returned.
