Imagine how many people show up on a given day thinking they are avaliable to help when they are not. advance auto here is intentionally not improving on purpose by not updating the hours of operation which is obviously retaliation or carelessness or laziness all which are bad. I didn’t have to lift a finger, new battery installed and old one take care of and I was back on the road in less then 15 minutes. Highly recommend. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
