- CAcutty Antunez4 days ago5.0over the years I’ve been in and out of auto parts stores with horrible customer service, up to having to look up my own parts on their computer and they allowed me to do so.. but I can tell you I’ve never had such a SUPER HIGH EXPECTATION customer service like I did here at advance auto located at 1735 Washington blvd…. Example- I called in on a warranty part that I have purchased years ago because it was not in the system. So over the phone call she helped me with what she could also It was the end of “Chancy” shift. I hang up and luckily I found my receipt call back a hr later Chancy was gone but I got help from other team member. I was directed to another store due to not having both parts I need.. Month goes by, I call in about a warranty part on the same receipt as before. I end up getting Chancy again on the phone With my same issue of the parts not being in the system / warranty. After one simple phone call, she remembered who I was the month prior. She asked me how they resolved it the time before. I told her I’m not 100% sure because it was awhile back. Long story short I took the parts off, took them back to the store to get warranty. She took it upon herself to figure out how to Warranty these parts out!! For someone to remember that over a month ago when you have Constant customers in and out of that store Shows you how much she truly cares about her job And customers!! So to “ Chancy’s “ Managers or corporate office I highly recommend A bonus or pay raise, because of her, I will be going back To that store specifically!! Best customer service, hands down!! Thank you again for the help Chancy, much Appreciated!!

Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
