  We rented in Moab Utah for 4-5 days. The car was great, people very friendly, out the door quickly and most importantly no hidden fees.

  I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and concern regarding my recent experience with your Moab location. First and foremost, I am appalled by the unprofessional and, frankly, discriminatory behavior demonstrated by the manager(Tim is his name) at this location. It is difficult to comprehend how an individual with such an attitude is entrusted to represent the Alamo brand. To provide context: I had rented a Jeep from another Alamo location. Upon arrival in Moab, I discovered the vehicle had a flat tire. I contacted Alamo Customer Service, who referred me to the Moab location and informed me that three Jeeps were available, including a red one with better tires, which I specifically requested. I arrived at the location early, but it was closed and not scheduled to open until noon, so I went into town. Around 11:00 AM, I received a voicemail from the manager(Tim) accusing me of demanding that he open his office, which I had never done. When I returned to the office, an employee provided a Jeep but not the red one I had requested. She stated they could not locate the key for it. As I was leaving, I saw the manager(Tim) and asked if I could have the red Jeep. He replied that it was reserved for another customer. I drove the Jeep I had been given for only a mile before the engine temperature warning light came on. I returned to the office and showed the manager a video and photo of the warning light. He dismissed my concern and accused me of lying. After inspecting the vehicle himself, he claimed I had not shown the correct warning light. He then left for 20 minutes and returned with keys to a smaller vehicle — a Mazda — which he insisted was all he had. Due to his hostile demeanor, I accepted the Mazda and left. However, after just two hours of driving, the engine oil warning light came on. I contacted customer service again, who directed me back to the Moab location. I was told the oil had been recently changed but the sensor had not been reset. Despite this explanation, I felt uncomfortable driving further. I parked and personally checked the oil level, it was completely empty. Fortunately, I remained safe, but this experience was deeply troubling and unacceptable. I urge Alamo to thoroughly investigate this location. I strongly believe that I am not the only customer who has encountered such poor service. Please take appropriate action to ensure the safety and respect of your loyal customers. No one should have to go through such a difficult and unsafe.
