- CCCyndiAug 25, 20255.0Taylor at Sam T. Evans has been incredibly helpful in assisting me with shoring up the weather stripping at a Leer tonneau cover I purchased there about 7 years ago. I figured it was time to replace it. He put the fact that I was cost conscious first and pointed out that the seal was fine and only needed to be rebonded onto the tailgate of the tonneau cover. He also suggested a great solution for shoring up small gaps that had developed in the pliable tonneau sealing between the rubber seals that just needed a simple replacement without having to leave my only vehicle for a few days when I live an hour away. He has been exceedingly helpful and informative via phone and in person and has never once used that unmistakable tone or attitude that I've heard a hundred times from men who work in auto accessory/repair/installations when they realize they're dealing with a woman. Not sure why that's a thing, since I've been a good paying single female buyer of new autos and new accessories and RVs for the last 30 years. But, those dealerships and auto/RV businesses who treat me fairly earn a very loyal long-term customer who is not afraid to share my good or negative experiences with my male counterparts at work and my friends outside of work. Taylor is not only outstanding when it comes to knowledge about truck accessories and the upkeep of such, but he has a fantastic attitude and he is clearly a huge asset to Sam T. Evans. Thank you so much Taylor and Sam T. Evans!!!! I so appreciate the assistance and your fair and respectful treatment of a single woman. It's notable and good business, to be sure. It comes back in spades, even if a business isn't aware of how or why additional new customers seek them out.
