  Went in for an emissions test and to replace my battery’s terminals since they were corroded. They reassured me that it could be done in 15-20 mins, I had my own parts and everything. Communication was horrible, I waited 1+ hours so that they at the end could say, sorry we couldn’t do it, you have to take it to a mechanic. There were 6+ employees and they were juggling from car to car and even though I came in first, they left my car unattended for long periods of time. I wasted so much time in there for nothing. And $40 emissions test is a scam! Last time I go here, I’ve been a loyal customer for years but never again! Before this incident, my husband took our car to do tire rotation and we drove for 6 hours for our family vacation. When we got there we felt something was wrong with our car, my husband checked the tires and the bolts were coming off, literally. We could’ve been in a serious accident because they didn’t tighten the bolts properly.

  Update: Grease monkey asked me to email them about my concerns and they never respond to the email for assistance. It’s a ploy to appear they want to improve customer experience. Additionally, the light bulbs they installed are having issues again because they didn’t install them properly. My front left light is not working because they didn’t know how to install the part but charged me for the services anyway. I went to Grease Monkey for an oil change, emissions test, and light bulb replacement. It took the technicians 2 hours to complete the services. They apologized 6 times and come to find out they couldn’t figure out how to change the lightbulbs which took them 45 minutes, this compounded their process because now they couldn’t do the emissions test in the oil change bay or at the same time so they spent another 40 minutes for emissions. Unfortunately, they were down 2 technicians throughout the process because they were cleaning up the bay where they sprayed oil all over the floor side the side rails of the man hole. It was not a quick service, they did not keep me informed, and if they aren’t qualified to list services they are capable of doing they shouldn’t advertise them. I hope my experience is a one off but it was very poor and very slow.

  Wasted 40 dollars getting my vehicle inspected here, took it to discount tire close by and it passed. No issues with codes at all.

  I had my car's oil changed, brakes replaced, and got a new battery. The technicians were great at explaining my options and helped me to get the best price.
