When I went, they were under a lot of stress with a lot of clients backed up, and I watched them running back and forth taking care of everybody doing everything they can to keep people happy. They just told my wife her vehicle will only run on synthetic despite the history of us and the previous owner always using conventional. My wife called for my opinion as I'm usually the one that gets the oil changed. When she told them to stick to conventional and they didn't bother waiting and had already put in synthetic. I was bothered and felt like they purposely took advantage of her. I called and they told me the previous Jiffy Lubes were wrong. Weird to throw your own brand under even though it's a different loccation. Guess I'll go back to changing the oil myself. Doubt I'll return to Jiffy Lube but for sure will never go to the Lindon location again. This is my first negative Google review I've left, it's only an additional $60 but the unnecessary upsell and rudeness when I called for explanation warrants it. Had they been reasonable, I would just let it go, but I'd steer clear of this location. Oh and I'm sure the rebuttal will be "we're just going off the manufacturers recommendation" Funny because we've been just fine using conventional every 3-5k miles. You knew that from the records. The manual and a quick google search says conventional or synthetic is fine to use. I hope the extra money you earned is worth losing a long time customer to the brand.

On Tuesday, November 11th, or Veterans Day, this Lindon Jiffy Lube location provides a free conventional oil change to all verified Veterans. Thank you, Lindon Jiffy Lube, for changing our car engine oil and helping us feel appreciated for our military service to our Country. There are also delicious doughnuts to eat as the technicians change the car engine oil.
