Can’t recommend them. Went for emissions test, called ahead to make sure the person was in and would be there. Showed up and he was gone for the next hour. Super frustrated, guy behind the counter didn’t car in the slightest. Went down the street to Havoline.

I’ve been to this Jiffy Lube many times for oil changes with no issues. Unfortunately, the one time there was an issue, it was such a nightmare that I won’t be returning. This is also the first review I’ve ever written, which says a lot. I went in on a Tuesday evening for an oil change. Because I don’t drive often for work, I didn’t drive again until the following Wednesday. While on the freeway, I heard a loud whooshing sound. I was almost to work, so I finished the drive. After work that night (after Jiffy Lube was closed), I tried checking under my car but couldn’t find the issue. The sound continued on my drive home, and I even had a stranger roll down her window at a stoplight to ask if I could hear the noise my car was making. When I got home, my boyfriend checked my VW and found that the skid plate was hanging off, the front clips were torn off, and the plate was scuffed and full of holes. There were no prior issues with it. He pushed it back up as best he could. That same night, I came down with the flu and had a high fever for 3–4 days, so I wasn’t driving. I called Jiffy Lube that Friday to let them know the skid plate hadn’t been clipped in correctly during my oil change and that I’d be coming in on Monday (about two weeks after the oil change). When I went in, I was first told they could just bolt it back on. I said no, because it was badly damaged due to their mistake and I wanted a replacement. My VW’s skid plate uses slide-in clips, not bolts anyway. They reviewed camera footage, which I understood, but never clearly confirmed fault. Instead, they told me I was “half at fault” for not calling immediately and said they would only cover 50% of the replacement (which is basically admitting fault without admitting it). That was firm no for me. The damage was caused by their error, I didn’t know they offered mobile fixes, and I was sick after it happened. They made me feel like I literally needed to provide my work schedule and a doctor’s note. I refused to pay 50% and said I expected a replacement free of charge. The interaction was extremely uncomfortable. I spent nearly two hours there, was the only young woman in a room full of men, the managers never spoke directly to me, and I had to argue across the room with some poor employee that was tasked with communicating with me for the managers. Eventually they called corporate and that’s when they agreed to replace my skid plate for free. I returned the following Monday and they had an hour wait and I wasn’t prioritized despite the situation. Instead of waiting, I made an appointment for the next day, only to be told the technician was on lunch at my appointment time. I waited another 30 minutes as I watched most of the line get serviced. I do appreciate that my skid plate was ultimately replaced at no cost. What I don’t appreciate is my own wasted time, garbage customer service, being blamed for 50% of their mistake, managers not speaking directly to me, and the fact that coverage only happened because I pushed for it. Do better Jiffy Lube.

DO NOT GO HERE! A couple of months after getting my tires rotated, I noticed a rubbing sound coming from the front passenger tire. It happened at a specific part of the tire rotation. I took it back to Jiffy Lube to have them look at it, and it turns out a lug nut was missing. They said that they didn't note in their file that I had a missing lug nut, but couldn't be sure that it was because of them??? Obviously, it was their fault; lug nuts don't just fall off. The mechanic said that since it could be them, they offered not to charge for the labor, but they would charge me for the part, which the guy thought would be around $6. It takes 10 seconds to screw on a lug nut with a torque wrench, so I'm not sure why they'd charge for labor to begin with, but I don't think it's worth it to argue over $6, so I just said that would be fine. 10 mins later, they came out and said that they decided to lift up the car, and they actually heard the sound coming from the transmission, so they said the issue couldn't have been caused by a missing lug nut or an oil change, and suggested I take it to a mechanic who works on transmissions. They also stated that, for some reason, it's really expensive for Jiffy Lube to get lug nuts and would cost me $25 for a single lug nut. The mechanic suggested that to save money, I just go to Autozone to get one. I was pretty bugged by that but didn't want to argue, so I went to Autozone and bought one for $4. There is NO WAY it costs Jiffy Lube $25 to get a lug nut; they just didn't want to replace it. After torquing all of the lug nuts on that tire, the sound went away! I consulted with another mechanic, who said there were no transmission issues. These Jiffy Lube mechanics don't know what they're doing. I had issues with breaks before, but I at least thought you could trust them with simple tire rotations and oil changes, but apparently, you can't!

Brian has been the manager of this Jiffy Lube since it opened quite some time ago and has been very helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced for all my vehicle maintenance and state emissions/registration needs for over 20 years! I don’t take my vehicles any place else, and would recommend you do the same. Ken Culmone

Justin was extremely helpful with a "quick question" I had right as they were closing. He even told me it's not something they would do there, but he walked me through how to solve the issue and where to go for help. Thanks Justin at Jiffy Lube Saratoga!
