  I love all maverick c-stores. They cater more towards the regular folk. Prices are always on point or cheaper.

  You'd think with a remodel they would at least try to keep their food from being moldy... I went back to get a refund on what I got (8.33$), the machine wasn't working I guess so they couldn't give me a direct refund.. okay fine, but to then offer a 5$ gift card and some quarters as a "fix"... That is genuinely not okay. To say "I know you spent almost 10$ and the food was inedible and moldy" but here's a little more than half of what you spent.. Like really.. my response is pretty reasonable I would say to be upset to not be offended a full refund in cash if the machine isn't working or to not at least give me the full amount as a gift card.. just genuinely bad business.

  I cannot say enough great things about Heather at the Layton Maverik. Every single time I come in, she goes above and beyond in a way that truly stands out. In a world where customer service can sometimes feel rushed or routine, Heather makes every interaction feel genuine and personal. From the moment you walk in, she greets you with a warm smile and positive energy that honestly makes your whole day better. She’s fast, professional, and incredibly attentive, but what really sets her apart is how kind and thoughtful she is. She treats every customer with respect and patience, no matter how busy it gets. Even during the busiest rushes, she stays calm, friendly, and efficient. Heather doesn’t just “do her job” — she takes pride in it. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers and about representing Maverik well. The store always feels more welcoming when she’s there. She’s helped me more than once with questions and always does it with a great attitude. It’s rare to find someone who consistently delivers this level of service, and it absolutely deserves recognition. Heather is a huge asset to the Layton Maverik team, and she’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back.
