Meh....that about sums it up. You can't even enter the store without getting past the security guards, AKA the reception staff. They don't even say hello, they just asked if I had an appointment then they needed to take a copy of my driver's license just to get in. Then we had to wait in the enrty way for a salesperson, we couldn'teven browse the store. They have a pretty big inventory but the sales guy was kinda pushy. He also didn't let me look at larger RVs that he felt were "out of my price range" which was really irritating. I probably won't go back.

I went into camping world Kaysville as a first time buyer. Expressed that I was not looking to finance a unit and was extremely upfront that I was not looking for a runaround or to be scammed with my salesman. I found a unit online with Msrp listing 12,888 after being haggled into financing because in the fine print they don’t list or tell you upfront what the actual cash price of the unit only the financed option which was roughly 18 grand. Went through their financing process put a down payment of $2600 down and was told I had to wait for their team to preform the safety tests for the propane c02 monitors etc and that the camper would be ready for pick up the following day. Everything was going smoothly until I brought the unit home and did a more thorough walk through. The prior owners had left some old dishes and pans in two different cabinets upon removing the first dish out there was mound of mice shit in all of the bowls and pans besides the first one. Which leads me to believe they were aware of the mouse situation and chose to “hide it” by stacking the bottom dish on the top. There was visible mouse shit around the base boards of the unit, bugs crawling out of the blinds and spiders in the ceiling. At this point I called camping world and explained the situation. I was told they could do a 22point seal inspection and detail for the perfect cost of $750-$1200 something that I SHOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR. So I went in and spoke with the manger. He was not upfront about whether or not I was going to be charged just that they would take care of it. I CLEARLY stated I have a camp trip coming up in 3 weeks and would this done and ready to go asap. They had my camper almost a week and have just barely gotten the seal inspection done and called to advise a 6 year old campers’ seals basically all needed to be redone, the smoke detectors and my c02 detectors were all EXPIRED. SOMETHING THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT WHILE DOING THEIR MANDATORY BY LAW SAFETY CHECK. Julie confidently advised that would cost me an additional $2000 and it would be ready by 4/2 (day before I’m scheduled to leave for my trip not asap). So for a camper that was supposed to cost me roughly $14 grand after gap and warranties is now costing me roughly $20,000. I do not feel this company is honest or transparent and is only out to price gouge you. If I had the option to refer a friend or family member I would NEVER have them come to camping world especially NOT this location. Extremely upsetting. DO BETTER.

Very high pressure atmosphere, they act like you're taking food off their plates when it comes to getting what your trade in is worth. They also claim like they have zero control of prices, and it's all in corporates hands. As far as the salesman goes, he wasn't knowledgeable about trailers in general at all, let alone the specific trailers we looked at, and when we asked questions about the specifics, he told me to look it up online. Also gave me information on trailer features that I have found to be straight up incorrect. Worst of all, they don't even include batteries, a final walk through, detail, or tour of your new rig if you don't buy their 'Lets Go Camping' package, which is absolutely ridiculous. These kind of things have always been included when buying a new trailer, and still are at all of the other dealerships. I'm surprised the trailer manufacturers will allow their trailers to be sold like that, it's pretty reckless to assume that there won't be any issues with every trailer, as there always is. Finance was its own circus, which is ironic because we paid cash. They don't like cash customers, and will fight for their kick backs. They didn't track my holding deposit in the paperwork, and then after we had paid, they forgot to charge us taxes, and we had to come back in and pay them. They never did have us sign an updated contract, which is suspicious. This is the third trailer we have purchased from this location, and this will be the last. I gave an extra star just because the parts and service did a pretty good job. They were very helpful (even though I'd say my salesman should have done the leg work when ordering parts for our new trailer), and followed through with the promised price and dates.
