The automatic stop did not stop and overflowed after my truck was full ran in told the manager they came out to clean it up. He was very rude about telling me there’s a sign saying not to leave your truck while filling. I definitely learned a lesson, but was very surprised on how upset the manager was with me. I asked if I had to pay for the 20 extra gallons that I did not put in my truck. Bummer deal. Had to pay for the extra fuel in the ground. Be careful faulty pumps
- MDMira DanielsSep 3, 20254.0We were traveling south towing our fifth wheel. We need gas and wanted to get something to eat. We often search for truck stops but there wasn't one in Kanab. Our next choice would be a gas station with a high enough roof over the pumps on the right hand side of the road so we don't have to make a left turn to get in and back out. This Maverick is almost brand new. They have only been open a couple of months. My Garmin didn't even have it listed as an option. But I found on Google maps. There is a nice truck and RV fueling station behind it with places for RVs and trucks to park and go in. Plenty of pumps for cars in front. It's large, and has several options for food and snacks. (See pics) The staff was polite and helpful. The entire store, including the restrooms, was clean.
