- BFBen FAug 7, 20251.0My tire pressure was low so I came here and successfully ran my credit card multiple times through the machine, but it didn’t work. I couldn’t get it to work after several attempts so I went inside get some help, and I was told that the air machine is not theirs, they wouldn’t help. I asked if they could give two dollars to see if it would work, but they told me no. Said that I could use an ATM. I explained that my card had already been run for about 10 bucks, but they did not care. I was basically left stranded. Zero help. Poor experience, won’t be back. Go to a different location or the Maverick across the street from there. This is not worth it. Management needs to learn empathy and ownership. Unbelievable.

First off the sign is in a position that is impossible to see when you're travelling east bound on bangerter until about the last possible second. (granted it is not Maverik's fault there is a tree there). However, I saw the gas price and slammed on the breaks swerved right and barely didn't hit the curb that is in the turn lane onto the road here. Pulled up to the pump looked at the price and it was 10 cents more than I just saw. Then I remembered only some Maverik locations are super dumb and display the Nitro price. Well that is what I had looked at when I only had about 2 seconds of time to see the time and make a decision. Also the little indicator that it is nitro versus credit is tiny. Why does Maverik even display the nitro price? If I had nitro then I would just know take off 10 cents per gallon in my head. But who looks at a sign and thinks "ohh let me add 10 cents to that price". Super frustrating. For the record this only changes the total price by less that 2 dollars but it is the principle of displaying a false price that upsets me not the money spent itself. Only gave it a 2 star because the wiper cleaner had liquid in it.
