Be careful
That’s just happened yesterday February 1st 2026
, I went to a gas station to fill up gas. The cashier was a woman whose behavior was very strange, unprofessional, and inappropriate. I told her I wanted to pump gas (open pump), but she pretended she didn’t know how to do it. I asked to speak to the manager, and she said there was no manager available.
Eventually, I told her to put $100 worth of gas. I paid $100, pumped the gas, took my receipt, and left.
Later that night, about four to five hours afterward, I received a message from my bank stating that there was an attempted fraudulent transaction of $400 on my card. The alert showed the same address of the gas station where I had been earlier that day. My bank immediately blocked my card.
I called the gas station, and they told me the manager was not available. I called again the next day, and when I spoke to the manager, he said something like, “Okay, what do you want us to do? If money was taken from you, contact us.” I told him clearly that I did NOT withdraw or authorize any additional charges, but he dismissed the issue and told me not to contact them again, without taking any investigative or legal action.
I am sharing this as a warning to others to be careful when using card machines at this gas station. If you do use them, closely monitor your bank transactions, as your card information may be stolen. I have all the evidence to support this.
