For my Toyota Camry, I had them use the recommended full synthetic oil, which is more expensive. The tech gave me a sticker and said I would need another oil change in 3,000 miles. What?! Having used full synthetic oil before, the knew this was NOT true. For full synthetic, with normal driving, manufacturers recommend at most 10,000. This is over three times longer than what this store told me. Sounds like they’re trying to scam people into changing oil more frequently than necessary. Do your research. I recently had my oil changed again over the weekend, with my car at about 7,500 miles since the change at this shop, at a different local shop. I asked them about when I would be due for an oil change again and they confirmed 10,000 miles by inputting information they asked me into their computer system. I will not be back to this facility because their business practices are shady.
