  My name is Frederick Jones. My experience with this rental car agency was nothing less than superb. Jessica was refreshing, patient, and gave me exemplary customer service. In addition, I truly appreciate the prompt post service I received from the Manager, Dee. Again, great experience. Thank you Jessica and Dee!!

  Hey travelers, don't rent from Budget when in Utah. Stick to Enterprise! Budget will let you reserve a car with high fuel economy, but they will switch it out for a gas guzzler. I flew to beautiful Cedar City alone, and I asked for the compact car I had reserved in advance online. The agent told me that "Budget Utah" only ever had mini-SUVs and larger. I guess "Budget Utah" doesn't care about their unique environment. It's no wonder Salt Lake City is regularly buried in a cloud of smog. I ended up using almost twice as much gas as I had planned. Ouch! Budget's Customer Service regularly ignored my calls and emails requesting a reasonable $10 adjustment. Enterprise has quickly made things right for me every time. Next time, I'll go with the green rental car company.

  My husband and I were in an accident on 2/20 and needed to rent a car. I rented from Budget, paid over the phone and received my confirmation. Then, for some reason, Avis car rental charged us - I am not sure if they are connected in Cedar City, or exactly how it works. The last thing we needed, however, was to pay double for an already ridiculously expensive car that we were renting for 1 day. I called a week later and was told that "the charge would come back" into my bank account. I checked routinely, giving enough time, and it never did. I continued to call the location in Cedar City, leaving messages and never receiving a call back. I would call several times in one day and no one would answer or attempt to call back. Finally, when I threatened to leave a bad review because of their lack of customer service, they called back and referred me to their customer service. The woman in Cedar City said she was sending me to someone who could specifically help me get my money back, but the number was just for a general customer service line. I left a message, to which I never received a reply. I wrote an email, to which I received a response 2 days later, only to say I was being "transferred" to someone in St. George who could help. I was never contacted again. Whoever he sent my email to completely ignored me and my situation. I have emailed again, and called and left another message. I have not received any response. The lack of response and customer care is absolutely astounding and appalling. I am at a loss of what to do to get my money back, and will certainly never use either company again, will never refer, and all I can do is hope that someone will take me seriously at some point. Customer service is everything for a company, so it is amazing that this company seems to not treat it as such. They could have taken care of my problem promptly and I would have been pleased and impressed. I am not sure what they think they are gaining by ignoring me for over a month now. As a paying customer, it is disgusting to me that I have been so ignored and neglected. They finally did take care of this 2 months later - so I feel I should give them credit for that. It was the biggest hassle to deal with so many customer service people who I felt continually ignored me. Way too many phone calls and emails.
