  What a disaster of an employee and location. I rented from another budget location a month ago and didn't have any issues. Just because my drivers license is out of state shouldn't matter, it didn't at the other budget... And I don't know why my cc got declined, but she said she can't rerun it(?) I called my bank and they said this shouldn't have been declined. she was super rude, and everything seemed like an issue with her. She provided no solution or help. Super frustrating experience!!

  B E W A R E. I don’t leave reviews unless I have a really great or horrible experience. Booked a full size SUV online and drove 1/2 hr to pickup but they said they didn’t have any cars that size even though there was 2 suburbans in the parking lot. You can’t get ahold of the direct locations to check if they have a car available and they were less than helpful when we did finally get through to customer service they were not helpful at all. SUPER FRUSTRATING.

  If you want problems, rent a car through Budget American Fork. I have had a terrible experience here. It is a franchised location, and therefore no one at corporate can fix any of the problems I am now facing, and I'm left stranded. They are understaffed, uncaring, and unresponsive. It all started 9 days ago when I called about my reservation for a full-size pickup and they told me they had 4 trucks on the lot, and there would definitely be one for my reservation the next morning. I show up less than 24 hours later, and there are no full-size pickups. They say I can wait 5 hours to get one, and it won't be cleaned or anything, it will just be given to me. After some discussion and my reminder that I am getting what I reserved, they tell me to drive to the SLC Airport and that I could get a truck there. Again, throwing my plans off because they can't seem to understand the term "reservation" and what that means. I feel a little like Jerry Seinfeld if you know what I mean. I got the truck at the airport, used it as planned for the day, returned it to the American Fork Center as discussed, and all is well...or so I hoped. Now it's been 8 days since the evening return I made, and the full charge STILL IS ON MY ACCOUNT. I have been paying bills with that credit card, buying necessities, etc., and now I see that it says I've over-drafted because the full price of the rental and the extra hold they've made are still sitting on my account. I've called no less than 10 times, left two messages, and still have not received a reply. If you want a good experience, go elsewhere. If you want great customer service, go elsewhere. If you want your credit card to be locked up because the associates can't do their jobs, or want to be sent on a wild goose chase an hour off course for a vehicle they promised they had reserved, or otherwise just ignored, then this is the place for you.
