  Ridiculous. I’ve rented hundreds of cars for work Thru National all over the west and this is the worst location. I’ll pick up from Denver next time and drive 2hrs one way. They close at 4pm for one but they didn’t tell me they were operating out of enterprise on missile drive until I landed at 5pm day of pickup. I had to pay a $300 deposit which I never do and one reason I choose National over the others. I dropped off car on Fri and it’s Tuesday at 10am and car is still showing overdue. They almost always give me a upgrade to nicer vehicles too but not this time, just a basic Nissan car.

  Location at airport is not up and running yet. They have another office about 2 miles away. Called number on sign at airport and lady answered, told her I had a reservation and she sent a gentleman over to pick me up. He showed up in 10 - 15 minutes drove over to the other office was in and out fairly quickly and on the road. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The car I got was more than I expected. I thank you guys and gal. After the day I was having you made it a little better.

  1. Not open when posted as open. 2. No cars available at reservation time. They were closed on the day I had a reservation and it wasn't posted. Corporate offices even said they were supposed to be open. Not urgent so I changed my travel plans for later that week. New reservation was made later in the week. They were open this time, but they had no cars available for my reservation time. Had to wait hours for a car.

  I do not understand why National has an office here in Cheyenne WY. Obviously, there is not enough business for it since the agents are never at the terminal and are in the co-located offices with Enterprise out on Missile Drive. At this location, they are more worried about the Enterprise business than taking care of all customers regardless if they are Enterprise or National. Oh yeah, if you make a reservation and do not bring a major credit card with you, you are basically out of luck because they will expect copies of your utility bills before lift a finger to help you. I left and got excellent service from another car rental place. I will never go back to this location.
