- JCJon Campbell3 days ago5.0Traveled up to take my girls to a hockey game from almost 4 hrs away, and as we were leaving the hotel my temp gauge alert started going off, navigated to this store where I could try and diagnose the issue. As soon as I entered the store I was pleasantly greeted as I asked for some water to try and find my leak. They found a cracked windshield water fluid jug and were happy to help, after looking my radiator hose connector piece was broken which one of the guys told me what it was after I found it was broke they looked it up and didnt have it nor could they get it. I told em I was traveling and kinda stuck they went above and beyond to find the part # and call autozone to try and locate the specific part for me which they did and the guy was supposed to order and would arrive there by 3. They offered assistance with different tools to remove the broken piece and then diligently looked through parts and pieces to try and rig up a way to make it work. We were stuck for 4 hrs waiting on a part and with 2 kids is rough we played at the park walked and got food came back and they had a temporary solution that was exactly what we needed these guys were awesome!!! Super helpful, beyond nice and made my problem theirs for no reason other than just all around great group of guys!!! Thank you to all 3 of you guys, we would probably still be stuck in wheeling had it not been for you all, being as how autozone dropped the ball and didn't get the part but the way you temp fixed it held up great and we are home with no issues!!!! Thank you guys soo much!!!!

Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
