  I could not get any happier about my experience with safelight Parkersburg. Hank and Gregory were both very helpful and friendly. I showed up early because of previous reviews saying how quickly they take care of you. Hank pulled my truck into the shop and I was out of there before I knew it. It was a pretty bad chip but Hank did a great job fixing it. I also witnessed Gregory going out of his way to help someone else who was parked a few buildings away. I highly recommend this safelight location and Hank & Gregory!

  I was disappointed with my Safelite experience overall, though I do want to say that when the window was finally replaced, the technician did a good job. I chose Safelite partly because after I waited on the original quote, they offered me about $40 to $45 off. Even with that discount, my original appointment still took over a week to get scheduled. When the technician first came out, they would not install the window because it might rain. It had sprinkled lightly before they arrived, and the ground was slightly damp, but it was not raining at the time. It also did not rain for hours after they left, so that part was frustrating. I had already paid for the window, and when I asked if I could just take the glass and install it myself, they refused. I was rescheduled from Monday to Thursday, but my availability was only 8 AM to 12 PM, while their appointment window was listed as 8 AM to 6 PM. I was ready to cancel because of how frustrating the whole situation had become. When I went to cancel, they increased the discount to $100 off, which was basically another $55 to $60 off my bill. That was enough for me to keep the appointment. I was eventually able to reschedule again, and they came on Tuesday and replaced the window. The actual replacement work was done well, and I appreciate that. My biggest issue is the inconvenience, the delay, and especially the glass removal and recycling fee. I had already cleaned up most of the broken glass myself the day it broke, yet I was still charged about $40 for glass removal and recycling. Even after the service was completed, there was still a small ammount of loose glass left in the car. I understand not every piece of glass can always be found, but being charged that fee after I had already cleaned up most of it, and still having glass left afterward, was disappointing. The discounts helped, but they did not fully make up for the delay, the inconvenience, and the cleanup fee.

  Safelite is local & does home repair so I didn't have to sit in a repair shop for an hour or more. I have State Farm so there was no charge for the replacement. The technician was polite & fast. I pre-purchased new wipers prior to them coming so that saved time as well.

  I had an appointment scheduled for today 6-11-2026. Your technician Jeffery called to tell me that my insurance had not been approved. I told him I called my insurance agent and that I had coverage, I asked him to call them he so no I will not. He laughed at me. I asked him for his last name he said I didn’t need it. I could tell he didn’t want to come do the job. Jeffery was a complete jerk. I told I will an another company to fix my windshield, he said that is what I should do. Terrible service.
