- KDKenje Donawa4 days ago1.0The worst Pilot travel center ON THE PLANET EARTH. This Pilot is small. Limited spaces. And they charge top dollar for semi truck parking. $25 a spot. If you are charging $25 a spot. You should also be regulating the parking lot. Since it’s so small. I’ve been driving trucks for 10 years. And I try to avoid this Pilot at all cost. This is a last resort stop for me. I only park here unless I have ZERO Choices. The truck stop fills up fast. And by 10:00 PM you’ve got trucks literally parking in front of semi trucks that are already parked in spot spots. I’m talking three trucks deep all the way down to the wall before you turn to the pumps. Clogging up the entranceway. It’s hard for trucks to even get in and try to get fuel. How the managers allow this,I don’t know. If you have to leave at two or 3 o’clock in the morning. You have to knock on doors to try to wake people up. So you can leave. For $25 a night. You need security. Or the employees need to stay on top of the parking lot. Making sure people don’t park in front of Truck spaces that are occupied. I had to pound on a guy‘s door for 45 minutes. Before I was able to leave. I had a situation about five years ago. A driver parked in front of a row of trucks. Then went home on home time. And blocked a row of trucks in. No one could leave. If you have the option to park on the highway, do so. If you have the option to park at a service station on the highway, do so. This Pilot truck stop is the worst in the country.
