- PBPeyton BertramMar 14, 20261.0Take 5 Oil Change is anything but quick or painless. The staff asked nonstop questions while trying to remove parts I never asked them to touch. They even started taking apart my dash to check the cabin air filter before asking for permission. The service is overpriced, and to make matters worse, the tech installed my oil filter without making sure the old O-ring was removed, which caused my truck to leak oil. Save yourself the hassle—do it yourself or go to a trusted dealership.
- JMjennifer magyarFeb 6, 20261.0We purchased an engine for my Jeep Wrangler from Auto Zone 10/1/2024. The engine lasted a whole year and three months 7,500 miles!! It was absolute garbage! I even had my oil changed before it was due. So it wasn't any fault on my end. I requested a refund since I had a 3 year warranty. Auto Zone refused a refund but said they would swap me an engine. The problem is.. I don't want another piece of crap engine!! I really don't feel like being stranded again.. having to be towed and all the wasted time and money. I am so disappointed and frustrated!! Update*** An AutoZone district manager called me and said unfortunately, that is their policy. They couldn't refund the purchase price but they could swap out an engine for my blown up one. Again, this is very disappointing. The engine only had 7,500 miles. Routine (actually ahead of schedule) maintenance. I really don't want to gamble on another engine from AutoZone. It's very disappointing and frustrating.
