  I had a rental reservation for luxury SUV for 7 passengers for a vacation booked for weeks. I got a call from enterprise telling me that the vehicle was going to be delayed and I had to go to another location to pickup a Jeep Wagoneer. This was 3 days, so no big deal. I show up, and the location is asking for me my job, a credit card to put the reservation on. After reading through the reservation requirements, and I handed him the card I used for the reservation which was a debt card. He looked at and said sorry, I can't complete this reservation on this. I said why not? The manager said anything over a larger SUV or exotic car had to be on a credit card. I then proceeded to leave that location and go back to the location on the mile ground. I spoke with service rep "Michael" and he was able to get my reservation swapped over from a SUV to a van and get me out of the office rather quickly. Just to note: The website will allow you to book a reservation, but there is following notes: Most vehicles require 200 dollar security deposit, but some require a 1,000 depending on type and model. Large SUV, cargo vans, and larger vehicles require a credit card to make pick up the vehicle. --------Edited 07July2026 Spoke with Rocky the regional manager over the Morgantown locations. He did clarify some of the issues that encountered during my rental. The credit cards rule is mandated by state and enforced on a branch by branch basis. He stated that he would be pushing this up to the leadership to talk about the concerns with the website and the lack of visibility with requirements up front.

  The individual who helped us with our rental from start to finish was fantastic! He did such a good job! I may spell his name wrong, but I believe his name was layd ( again, sorry about the spelling). He was so great to work with and truly made the experience so great.

  Vehicle was very clean when I picked it up. The Enterprise representative was very easy to deal with. Will rent again from here.

  The local Enterprise (Mileground location) was supposed to pick us up at the auto shop. They never showed up. 45 minutes later, we arrived at their office and waited another 20 minutes before a representative provided help. The two reps working were serving a room of 9 customers, hence the unusually long wait. The two employees who were working were frustrated and showing signs of being overworked- even as early as 9am. We were disappointed by their lack of courtesy and professionalism.
