I was referred to Truck Outfitters in West Bend by my next-door neighbor whose tonneau cover had been purchased and installed there. I was able to make an appointment within a week and was looking forward to finishing off with a tonneau the 2019 Honda Ridgeline I had just purchased. The appointment for installation took twice as long as promised. The problem was not with the technicians, but that the tonneau did not fit properly where it would snap down. They tried everything to get it to fit, but to no avail. They showed me where you had to smack down the ends just to get it to close. They could have just thrown up their hands and sent me on my way, but Doug and his assistant didn’t. Instead, they explained the issue to me and said they will take measurements and photos and get in touch with the manufacturer of the Truxedo cover. In the meantime, they left the one in place. It was only a week later that I received a call that a new tonneau had been received and ready to install. Fortunately, a slot was open that morning, and I brought my truck back. 45 minutes later, the new tonneau was in place and operating smoothly. Kastille was happy to show me how to operate it, as this was my first truck. I am totally impressed with the professionalism of Truck Outfitters in West Bend. Like a fine men’s clothier, Doug was not satisfied until the fit on my truck was perfect and until I was satisfied. 5 STARS!

Jeremiah and Courtney are the best! I love my SmartCap but had an issue with the glass on one of the side doors. I switched to steel doors and am all set. For a farm truck I should have gone with the steel doors to begin with. Good folks selling great products like the Smart Cap. No more Leer, ARE or Lakeland for me. Strictly Heavy Duty on my Ford.

I've had nothing but good experiences with everyone there. Definitely went above and beyond to help me out.

Went to these guys with my 2025 Tacoma for tinting, WeatherTech, and molle panel for the back. They ripped on me for wanting molle panel because it was "a fad" but reluctantly agreed to order it and install. After 2 weeks and a hefty deposit I called for a refund having not heard from them on any of the things I ordered for install. When I called they magically had everything that mysteriously "Just came in today". When I got the truck back, rhe WeatherTechs were still in the box (they couldn't figure out how to install them?), the tint job as ok but not great, and the molle panel was rigged in place with brackets. Figured out the molle panel (by Rough Country) was actually for a Jeep Gladiator, not a Toyota Tacoma Gen 4. The guy at the counter had a real attitude when I picked up the truck too. Do yourself a favor and avoid these clowns at all costs.

Would be zero stars if allowed. I made the mistake of going here. Flat tow install on a bran new Bronco. It worked, maybe, for 1 short trip. Then got pulled over cuz brake lights on bronco weren't working, not being towed just driving the bronco. Took it to dealership. They shared video, and pics from what I fixed, of hot wires falling out of lugs. Lugs not crimped or crimped improperly. Apparently they like to hide this with a ton of electrical tape. Marine connectors not shrunk, after a month, already corrosion starting on unprotected lug connections. Flat tow install 1100$ was refunded by these guys. Ford charged 1300$ just to fix their work. Oddly enough the dealership install cost would of been less than Truck Outfitters. NEVER GO HERE. NOT FOR ANYTHING ELECTRIC. Amazing my bronco didn't start on fire or get rear ended.
