- MHMichela HadyJun 26, 20261.0I went in to have a small chip fixed and the next day I went to my car after work to find a huge crack across my entire windshield. When I called about it they said sometimes this happens. It just means the repair failed. And are making me pay for a replacement of the entire windshield, so instead of paying $200 now I have to pay $1000. But don’t worry my $200 carries over to the $1000 like that’s going to help. The whole point of getting the chip fixed was so I didn’t have to pay for the whole windshield to get fixed but here I am.

SafeLite communicated with us multiple times via text and email to ensure we were ready for their visit. We chose to have their mobile unit come to replace our windshield rather than go to their facility. Tech called hours ahead of time to advise he was coming and when, which narrowed the time we were initially given. So that helped us plan our day and adjust. Tech explained the process and completed the installation within 2 hours. Explained the warranty and service, payment, etc. I'm happy with the service and have had no issue with the installation and technical calibration required for the modern windshield. I do recommend SafeLite.

The technician never showed up. I received no updates. After 45 minutes online with a chat bot I learned my parts were not in. My appointment was cancelled after the 5 hour window and was told I needed to reschedule. I canceled order. Very poor customer service.
