  Oh the pesky window star from a stone. My 1974 BMW windshield took a hit and I was afraid I'd need a replacement window. My American Family Insurance Agent reached out to Safelite, they responded immediately, followed up after we got an appointment scheduled and the tech upon arrival nailed it. On time, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. A great experience all around. I would absolutely advocate for Safelite.

  Games, Games, and More Games I scheduled a windshield chip repair through Safelite, but the entire process was frustrating from start to finish. To begin with, their website feels intentionally misleading. The actual cost of the repair is listed in small print, while a much smaller "4 equal payments" option is highlighted in large, bold text. Once you manage to schedule an appointment, prepare for an overwhelming barrage of communications. Over two weeks, I received at least six text messages and six emails. On the day of the service alone, I received two reminder messages before the technician even arrived, followed by another for the receipt. When the technician finally showed up, the aggressive upselling began. Even after I explicitly stated I wasn't interested, he refused to stop, claiming it was simply his job to pitch the add-ons. Then came a suspicious pricing discrepancy. My original email confirmation from August 18 listed the total at $182.49. However, an email sent the morning of the service bumped the price up to $329.12. When I brought this up, the technician claimed his manager was trying to bundle an upsell deal and must have "accidentally hit save." To their credit, they eventually honored the original $182.49 quote, but the price inflation felt dishonest. As for the actual quality of work, it was below average. Having had glass chips repaired in the past, I know a good repair makes the damage nearly invisible—a standard Safelite even advertises on their site. While the technician was proud that the chip was hard to see from the outside, the damage is still about 50% visible from inside the driver's seat. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and a waste of money. Between the deceptive online pricing, high-pressure upsells, and sub-par repair work, Safelite clearly prioritizes corporate quotas and profit over customer satisfaction.

  Outstanding customer service. The staff makes you feel as if you are the only customer, they have that day when clearly they have a full schedule. We drove an hour each way to have our windshield replaced. If we ever needed service again for that reason, we would come back one hundred percent.

  Nobody answers the phone and a pre order message simply hangs up. I have been trying to follow up on an open claim for 2 weeks. Impossible to speak to a person at this location using the phone number listed on the web page. Extremely disappointing.
