The cashier i believe his name os Mike a little bit of an older gentleman went way above and beyond today for me. I need a pin guide boot kit and we couldn't find one within 80 miles of Wausau but somehow he made was able to get me one after several phone calls. I truly want to thank him he is an outstanding person.

They actually recommended I seek help elsewhere. Sure am glad they recommended Batteries Plus because took care of it without hesitation. They also dramatized the difficulty of replacing my battery so that I’d go somewhere else. Batteries plus had me fully taken care of in less than 15 minutes.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
