I Don't leave to many negative reviews, but after my experience with this body shop, I feel obligated to warn others to thoroughly inspect their vehicle before accepting it.
My vehicle was at the shop for approximately three weeks for what appeared to be a relatively straightforward repair: replacing a bumper cover and repainting several adjacent panels. While the paint and bodywork itself looked acceptable, the problems began when I picked up the vehicle.
Within 16 hours of taking delivery, I discovered that a front parking sensor was not working. The sensor also showed physical damage to the paint. I immediately contacted the shop. Connor informed me that the sensor had been calibrated, that it was working when the vehicle left the shop, and that the issue was essentially my responsibility. When I requested documentation or calibration results, none could be provided.
Because of the lack of resolution, I was forced to schedule a meeting with the general manager. I spent approximately 45 minutes listening to explanations about why the shop should not have to replace the sensor, only to be told at the end of the meeting that they were going to replace it anyway. This could have been resolved with a simple phone call instead of wasting my time.
The shop then offered transportation while the sensor was being replaced. I was told the vehicle would be completed and I would be picked up after work. Instead, I was picked up roughly 15 minutes after the shop had already closed, giving me the impression that my vehicle had been forgotten and rushed through at the last minute.
Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. After a snowstorm, I noticed a loose wire hanging from underneath the rear bumper. I contacted Connor again, and he agreed to schedule an appointment. However, despite saying it would be handled, I never received a follow-up call to actually set up the appointment.
At that point, I no longer trusted the shop to work on my vehicle and took it to a local mechanic. What I learned was extremely concerning. The two front side marker lights that were functioning before the repair were no longer working. According to the mechanic, one marker light was broken internally and the other had simply not been plugged back in. Additionally, a rear marker light had also been left unplugged, which was the loose wire I discovered hanging beneath the vehicle.
In total, three of the four marker lights on my vehicle were not functioning after this shop completed its work. Because I could not get the issue addressed and did not feel comfortable returning, I ended up paying out of pocket to repair problems that should never have existed in the first place.
Another concern involved parts replacement. The shop billed my insurance company for a component that was not damaged in the accident. When I asked why it was replaced, I was told, "You don't like free parts?" That response did not inspire confidence and left me questioning whether repairs were being performed because they were necessary or because insurance was paying the bill.
My biggest complaints are poor communication, lack of accountability, incomplete reassembly, and a tendency to blame the customer when issues are identified. While the paint work itself was decent, the overall experience was frustrating from start to finish.
My advice to anyone considering this shop: take detailed photographs before dropping off your vehicle, inspect every function and light before accepting it back, and do a complete walk-around with an employee present. I have had significantly more extensive damage repaired by other shops in less time and with far better communication.
Based on my experience, I would not return and cannot recommend this shop.
