Bad customer service from sales all the way to service. Service is the worse. It's so sad that you have to pay for them to show you the features on the camper and how the camper works. After a couple of weeks that I bought my camper the couch and the electric jack stop working and the tub was never caulk. Took the camper in for service they took a long time, they never called me to give me any updates I called them a few times. All they gave me was excuses that they were short of technicians or they only had one guy moving campers. I found that very unacceptable. I understand that some parts were ordered, but at least give me an update and when the job is going to get done.

I can’t say how disappointed I am in my experience with Camping World of Sturtevant. The customer service prior to purchasing a camper was great. We opted for a used but like new 2 year old Class B Gulf Stream BT Cruiser with 1000 miles on it. Against my gut, feeling not to purchase the extended warranty for almost $7000 I buckled and purchased it. We were assured that most everything was covered. After having the camper for just four days we took the RV on our first camping trip. During our trip, found numerous fit and finish issues inside the camper that I mistakenly thought would be covered by our extended warranty to include the slide out gasket peeling away from the slide out and a little water damage in the bathroom. No such luck. The big issue I had with our like new RV was that when running the on board Cummins Onan generator, the carbon monoxide alarm kept going off. That made our first camping trip in 90 degree weather a bit miserable. I made an appointment to drop the RV off at their service department and after it sitting there for almost 10 days untouched they finally got around to looking at the generator problem. I gave them some instructions on what we were doing when we were running it and how long before the alarm would go off so they could properly diagnose the problem. As expected, they didn’t follow what we had told them and from what the service department told me the technician only spent 30 minutes on it after it’s sitting there for 10 days. I was told to just open up the roof vent while running the generator which is an absolute absurd thing to say cause all that does is create a vacuum and potentially could draw more carbon monoxide fumes into the RV. Now, remember when I purchased this, we were told that a technician had gone through it and that everything was safe and in order. While in the service department they never took a carbon monoxide detector / sniffer to it to check for exhaust leaks or to try to figure out how the carbon monoxide was getting into the rv. The amount of time they put in to troubleshooting and diagnosing the issue with the generator is an absolute joke especially since it’s a life safety issue. The customer service after you walk out the door with the keys to your RV is about as bad as it gets!

These 5 stars are for Shelly Janke! Sheis the only person to go to at this location if you are trying to buy a trailer. She was not the typical sales pushy. Instead she really took her time to show us all the options she had that fit what we were looking for and pointed out what was best about each option. She’s very knowledgeable and super helpful. The rest of the staff is friendly but communication lacks after agreeing to purchase. Shelly was the one who really took time to make sure we got all our questions answered even after we left.
Is it wasn’t for her, we would have gone to a different location. We also had an amazing tech walk through.

Salesman was good, pleasant personality. We walked in a few TT and quickly found them inadequate because of my 6 ft 5 in height, my suv 5,000 lb towing limit, (and btw my wife wants a couples trailer which sleeps three and has a queen size murphy bed). I had done my own research prior to coming and suggested a few models that had a 6'5'' ceiling. Your facility did not have the models but we did go into "sister" units which were sure to have the same ceiling height but were larger and heavier than I would like to handle (would like to limit dry weight to 3500 lb or less). So, I am still looking for models that might meet my needs.
