When I got home, I realized my car was leaking oil. Since it was the day after the holiday, I searched for a shop that was open and decided to stop by Car-X in Oshkosh. They inspected my car and found that the oil drain plug hadn’t been properly torqued and was loose. They tightened it up, took the time to explain everything, and were incredibly honest and helpful. I’m so grateful they were able to take care of it so quickly. If you’re looking for trustworthy, genuine people who care about their customers, I definitely recommend Car-X in Oshkosh!

They dismissed us claiming that it was some plastic rubbing against the wheel and offered to clip it off for a cash tip. The very next day we were driving on the freeway and the smell returned, now we have to make an emergency appointment before a camping trip this weekend. They do not do their due diligence to diagnose a problem, and they do not seem to respect or trust women when they try to explain their cars issues. We will never go back.

The coupons they send are very helpful and make it actually affordable! That being said, recently when I've called for appointments and sometimes needing to change appointment times I get a call center instead of the actual store and it is not a good experience. Besides barely being able to understand them they can't answer any questions for me. I also just found out they haven't even let the store know that I needed to cancel and so I would've been marked a no show, that makes me upset. I also asked for an appointment at a certain time and date and the call center rep told me they were full and didn't have anything available. I came to the store anyways and found out they had multiple openings available. I almost went somewhere else. I do like the shop and the employees but I'm only giving 3 stars because having to talk to a call center instead of the actual shop like I used to is disappointing and rather frustrating.

This is most likely because they're using an off-site Answering service who didn't know that the story had been closed due to family emergency. This caused a great deal of disappointment, frustration, cost and difficulty, not acceptable. An on-site appointment taker would have known that the store was closed. Not set an appointment for a closed store.
