Nichole Patino is completely unethical! We told Nichole from the start that we were looking to total the car if it had enough damage to be totaled. She told us once they did the "breakdown" that it was "well" below the percentage to total the vehicle and even if they needed to do additional work that there is "no way" it would be close enough to total, parts are ordered, and repairs will be underway.....exactly one month later when I pick up the car she tells me "ooo it went over what it was supposed to be to be totaled but don't worry we worked it out with insurance so they wouldn't total it on you". When I told her what?!? We wanted it totaled, she said "ooo well they would pay us less and would pay you less for the car if they totaled it half way through so we saved you from losing out on a lot of money by doing this. Here is your receipt, goodbye!" And then left..... This really rubbed me the wrong way. I immediately called my insurance agent to have them investigate this. Here I found out that wisconsin law states if the damage is 70% of the vehicle that it is required to total it and per state farm claims the original estimate before repairs from mander was at 75% of the vehicle value. Then! They additionally added an extra $1,000 worth of work to it making it now 95% of the vehicles value and did the work without getting prior approval from insurance! The car was finished and sitting outside for a day and THEN they submitted for approval to insurance. Long story short this car should never of had repairs done to it from the start. It should have been totaled immediately. Nichole purposely tried to work the system to get the money to repair the vehicle instead of totaling the vehicle. She also lied to us! If our insurance would have totaled the car after the breakdown or when they saw they needed extra work, insurance would have paid them for what they did so far and us the full value of the car. She lied so they could get paid to do more work. Now instead of being able to go through the process of insurance taking our vehicle from us and buying a new one a month ago, state farm had to pay double for the car (us for the car and mander for the repairs) and we are without a vehicle for a month longer than we should have been. Yes, the repairs look good! But it doesn't matter as insurance is totalling the car anyways......this was an extremely unethical and unprofessional move from Nichole that is now putting Mander in review of being a preferred repair shop for state farm or not.
If you need a good repair, yes the quality of the repairs is good. If you feel that your vehicle may be at the point of being totalled, DO NOT TRUST THEM, ESPECIALLY NICHOLE!! Double check with your insurance before they start working on it to see if you're wasting your time or not first.....

Peter Bock, the Manager, was incredibly helpful during a stressful situation. He took the time to refine his quote, in hopes to give us a chance to possibly save our totaled vehicle. We really appreciated his honesty and effort. Highly recommend!
