  I had been a loyal customer for over two years, renting from this company almost every other week. Because my employer only reimburses standard car rentals, I simply asked if they could charge me the same rate for a minivan but list it as a standard car on the receipt. I wasn’t asking for a discount—just a small accommodation so I could continue renting with them. Instead of trying to work with a long-time, repeat customer, the staff was dismissive, rude, and unwilling to help or even discuss possible solutions. It was disappointing to see such poor customer service after the amount of business I’ve given them over the years. As a result, I canceled all of my remaining reservations for the rest of the year and will be taking my business elsewhere. Customer loyalty should matter, and it’s unfortunate that such a simple request was enough to lose a long-term customer.
