    Booked a prepaid rental through an authorized third-party booking partner for a family trip from Canada. If Enterprise authorizes third-party partners to sell prepaid reservations, then any pickup restrictions that could prevent a customer from receiving the vehicle should be clearly communicated during the booking process. In our case, the booking process allowed us to enter the driver’s information and accepted full prepayment without any clear warning that the person paying and the person picking up the vehicle had to be the same. We only learned about this after arriving at the rental counter. As a result, we were denied the vehicle and forced to make a second last-minute reservation costing over CAD $500 more than our original booking. This caused significant inconvenience, financial loss, and unnecessary stress during what was supposed to be a family trip celebrating our child’s friend’s birthday. What disappointed me most was Enterprise’s handling of the situation afterward. Despite the reservation never being used, Enterprise repeatedly relied on “company policy” while refusing to take any responsibility for how that policy was communicated to customers booking through an authorized third-party partner. If Enterprise expects customers to follow these requirements, then Enterprise should ensure those requirements are clearly communicated before accepting payment—not after customers arrive at the rental counter. We have rented from Enterprise many times in Canada and have never encountered anything like this before. This experience at a U.S. Enterprise location was completely different from what we had come to expect from the Enterprise brand. I appreciate that the booking partner ultimately stepped in and absorbed approximately two-thirds of the penalty to resolve the situation. However, I do not believe a third party should have to bear the cost of a problem that could have been prevented through clear communication by Enterprise. ——————————————— Thank you for your response, Christopher. Unfortunately, your reply simply directs me back to Customer Care, which I had already contacted multiple times before writing this review. I followed every channel Enterprise asked me to use, but was repeatedly told to deal with the third-party booking partner instead. The booking partner then spent considerable time negotiating with Enterprise. In the end, they chose to absorb approximately two-thirds of the penalty so I could receive a full refund. Enterprise did not. I am leaving this review not because I failed to contact Enterprise, but because I did—and the outcome was disappointing. One star is the lowest rating available. If there were a way to reflect my actual experience more accurately, I would have used it.

    With competitor car rental companies becoming more competitive in pricing, I debated giving the other guys a try but ultimately stuck with Enterprise since I am familiar with them. I'm glad I did as the customer service at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport was the best customer service I've had in 2026. That means alot to me since businesses nowadays strictly focus on quick profit. The assistant asked us how our trip went, the experience we had with our rental, and if they as a company could do anything different. The young man's last question is what made Enterprise stand out. He even trusted I filled the tank without feeling the need to check for himself.

    So easy to pick up our rental from the airport. Very friendly and helpful staff. When we drove through the check out the lady took the time to tell us fun things to do around the area. On our return the young lady was also very friendly and helpful. Very personable! Thank you!!

    I was given the incorrect price and this location has been rude, unresponsive and unhelpful from day one. I booked 2 reservations (one through Enterprise and one through National), and when I got to the airport I decided to use National as I found a vehicle that met my needs and the national reservation was cheaper. I grabbed a van from the National emerald isle, drove to the National exit gate and expected to get my National reserved price. I couldn't confirm the reserved price while checking out as there is no reception in the garage. When I left there I noticed the price was higher than I reserved. During and after the rental I called, texted and emailed Enterprise to get this resolved. They were unresponsive to each and every outreach. After returning I called them 10 times to get this resolved. In those calls, I was only able to get through to someone once. This person told me that would not honor my reserved price and told me it was my fault that this happened. She said I was "not taking responsibility for my actions and trying to blame everyone else", she said I should have known better. She told me a manager would call me back, this never happened. I emailed their manager based on his direct email that I was given in an email during the rental. He has not responded either. It is very clear that this location does not care about customer service. All I've asked for is to get the price I reserved, I feel like this is the bare minimum and they won't honor this minimal request. Edit- per Enterprise's instructions below I reached out to the corporate help site and explained the situation. I was told to call their help line because my issue couldn't be solved over their chat. I called the number, explained the issue and was told the rep couldn't help me but a manager could. I was told a manager from corporate would be calling me to get this resolved. It's been 2 weeks and no call has come in. So to edit my previous statement- It is very clear that this location as well as Enterprise in general does not care about customer service

    I rented a car from Milwaukee airport for 11 days and returned it at the Appleton airport. It was an extremely easy process and every customer service agent was excellent. Renting a car online was extremely easy and quick. I appreciate the text reminders and follow up. I always try to rent from Enterprise. If it’s available in the location, I’m going to.
