  Excellent experience with Safelite from customer service to the technician who replaced my windshield. Within 24 hours of the incident resulting in my cracked windshield, I had a new one! I highly recommend them!

  The technician came out to complete a fix on the chip on my windshield. Upon attempting to fix the chip, the technician cracked the windshield beyond repair. The shop then stated that I was responsible to pay for the replacement of the windshield due to the technician breaking the windshield. When I called customer service, they stated I was indeed responsible for the full cost of the replacement of the windshield. 0 out of 10 recommend. Stay away.

  Booked a repair at my location with an arrival time of noon to 5pm. Got a call at 5pm that they weren't coming, and couldn't make a "house call" for at least a week. Update: Made an appointment and brought the vehicle to their shop. The work was done in less than 1/2 the promised time, and send to be good quality so far.

  Safelite representative contacted the kenosha store. And she told them what my car was. A Safelite associate contacted me and told me they can't fix my windshield. Because they dont have no one trained to fix my windshield. And they call me the day before the appointment. Why dont they hire someone trained . Anyway I found someone closer and he said sure no problem I can replace it. So for all you corvette people Safelite isn't the place for you.

  I had my windshield replaced recently and was told the after market glass was the same as OEM and explained the only difference was branding. After my initial replacement, my windshield was fogging up potentially due to a leak in the seal. The technician explained this is normal due to the warm weather outside. However my original windshield never did this for the 8 years I have owned the car. After my insistence, the lead technician agreed to make another appointment to replace it again. Cristian explained he would do the work himself and add some foam to help. Immediately after driving off the windshield started fogging up again. I called and spoke with the lead technician Cristian again and he explained I can choose to pay more for the OEM glass but it won’t make a difference and there is nothing more he can do. I was told the manager is out on maternity leave so there is no one else I can speak with about this issue. I am disappointed that I have had to drive back over an hour to the Kenosha location 4 times and the problem has not been solved and I am unable to talk to anyone who can help. It’s disappointing that Safelite has a sign posted about 100 percent customer satisfaction but when asking them to fix a safety issue such as a windshield fogging up when driving, they say there is nothing else they can do.
