  Had an amazing and stress free experience. I lived out of state and really wanted a car they had and was able to handle everything over the phone and had my car shipped. Communication was superb and my salesman Josh was awesome. Would definitely shop with Gustman again in the future.

  We recently purchased a new vehicle at Gustman Chevrolet Buick GMC, and our experience is always 5 star! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. This is our fourth vehicle we’ve purchased here and highly recommended working with Trevor Decoster. He’s excellent to work with and makes the car buying experience enjoyable.

  I don’t leave a lot of lower reviews, this one is kind of tough. I bought my truck here, and I did dealer only service for probably five years or so. Truck itself is great, it’s held up great and been a workhorse with very few issues. I also haven’t had any large type of issues up until this point, so for general service until now, let’s call it 3-4stars. A lot of the people are great Enter the incompetence. Yesterday I took it in for a service appointment, I called in and asked if there was anything we could do to be preventative about some transmission slipping that was starting to happen. “Absolutely let’s schedule a time”. Now in my head I know that outside of replacing the transmission, a fluid flush is really all they can do. Thing is, I had the fluid replaced last year, at this dealership, under warranty (this will become important later). So I do my work from the waiting room thing, they call me out. Spent over an hour doing an inspection, then tell me fluid change recommended and that my powertrain warranty won’t cover fluids. So in my head I’m wondering why the guy on the phone told me to bring it in in the first place. Desk guy says he will call the warranty people again. Fine. I go sit down. I come back to be told the same thing but NOW warranty guy has said that if I opt to not do this fluid flush that they may not cover if the transmission goes out. Now at this point I’m starting to get frustrated and a bit upset. Long story short: I had to go sit in the car, call the warranty people myself for them to explain the claim process if I were to make one, then go back inside after paying (for nothing). Turns out: the mechanic somehow couldn’t see the customer account to see that I had done a warranty fluid replacement about 15 mo the ago, so I paid $200 for literally nothing except to have a permanent record to do something I’ve already done and an immortalized comment that the warranty MAY not cover a break (you know I’ll have to deal with that in the future). They closed the appointment so fast that these notes couldn’t be edited. The answer was in my file the WHOLE time. If people in the back really can’t see an histor of warranty repairs (what I was told), I question how the floor works, and if not, I don’t like being lied to. If I wasn’t competant with vehicles I would have been royally screwed by this. This ends my saga. So this is where the stars come into play. OVERALL, I’ve had good experiences here over five or so years. But if what I was told is correct and the floor mechanics really can’t see my account to know I have had warranty work done at their own dealership, I advise caution to anyone who is a little less fluent in cars to think a bit before doing service here, as you shouldn’t have to explain your own on-site history in the digital era. That’s like your doctor not knowing your medical history after seeing them for five years.

  Dealing with the sales people was OK. I believe I got a good deal on the truck I purchased and the trade-in. Not thrilled with the paint/interior protection that they offered. My bad but I researched it after I made the purchase and it sounds like the chemical (Teflon) and process they use (spray on a wet vehicle and wipe dry) provides very short term protection. Google it yourself and you will find it’s a money maker for the dealer and a year from now I won’t be able to tell it was ever applied.

  I scheduled an appointment weeks prior for a what Gustman called a “Vacation Check Up.” When I arrived it was clear I was scheduled only for an oil change. Once service was complete they tried to tell me it included an inspection, but it clearly didn’t . When I questioned it I was told that the vacation check includes alignment but the “alignment guy” isn’t in today. That’s what I scheduled the appointment for! I’m taking a long road trip this month and needed to ensure my car was in tip top shape to make the trip. Now I have no confidence in the trip at all. Did they even change my oil? Who knows! In the past I wouldn’t go anywhere but Gustman for service. Now…I will definitely be going elsewhere!
