These guys sure helped me out! It was after hours and I needed to change my tire. I’m comfortable doing that on my own, but wasn’t strong enough to loosen the lug nuts. These guys were so sweet and helped me loosen them and filled the tire back up with air so I could get home and change my tire. They were tired and wanted to go home, but stayed 10 extra minutes to help me out! I’ve used this place for three years and I’m always pleased. Thanks guys!

Refused to install my seasonal tires. Ive came here for several years now, and they've always swapped my seasonal tires no problem. They've even put on old, discontinued, used tires on my Wrangler that I bought on Facebook marketplace (September 2025)! Today I was told they dont install any used tires ever, and thats been a policy for over two years, so i guess they just make up policies if they dont want to perform the used tire safety inspection. The guy was in a mood and it was Sunday, and I get that nobody wants to work Sundays, but let's set a policy and stick to it. Either you do a safety inspection and do install used tires, or you dont install any used tires. I will not be returning, heck, even Walmart will install my seasonal tires, disgraceful to be outdone by Walmart tire hahaha.

This place and the employees are amazing! We came in at 4:50 on a Saturday afternoon with a flat tire that needed to be replaced. They helped us navigate how to proceed with our rental car and stayed late to put on a new tire for us. They should have closed 30 min. ago and are still working to get us back on the road! On a road trip with my family from Pennsylvania . It’s already been a rough Go so far with vehicle issues . Stop for gas in Janesville Wisconsin and noticed one of my dual tires was completely flat and the other one had damage. It was after 5 o’clock and I thought I’d be spending the night here instead of getting back on the road. Bill was awesome! he went above and beyond! Curtis and Caden all stayed past closing time. They got me back on the road ! THey deserve a raises! What a blessing from God! Thank you MAVIS!

I went into Mavis Tires & Brakes today feeling a little stressed because I had a long day of travel ahead of me, and of course my Toyota RAV4 decided it was the perfect time to start having some issues.
From the moment I arrived, I was treated with so much kindness. I truly felt like they took care of me the way they would take care of a family member.
Bill took great care of me, explained what was going on, and even fixed my broken windshield wiper—which was definitely needed because it was pouring rain outside!
I could go on and on about the service I received today, but more than anything, I just appreciate how kind everyone was to me during what could have been a very stressful situation.
