My recent experience at Camping World in Green Bay was mixed. It wasn’t necessarily a bad experience, but it also didn’t quite meet expectations. I had called ahead and scheduled an appointment to view a specific camper the following day. We arrived a little early, but unfortunately, we were sent to the wrong location initially, and there seemed to be some confusion about where we were supposed to go. After some back and forth, we were finally directed to the correct location. Once we arrived, we were able to look at the camper and ultimately decided to purchase it. However, the process from that point forward was quite time-consuming. It took a long time to prepare the buyer paperwork, even though we were paying for the camper outright and not financing. I also declined the add-on packages, which were priced higher than expected, so I anticipated a quicker process after that. Instead, there was about an hour wait before being called back in to complete the final paperwork and payment. After that, we waited several more hours while the camper was being cleaned. When we were finally called to pick it up, we still had to wait for a service technician to come over from a different location to install our weight distribution hitch. In total, we spent about seven hours there for what was a straightforward, as-is purchase. The staff we interacted with were polite and friendly, which we appreciated. However, due to the overall lack of coordination and the significant amount of waiting, I don’t believe I would return to this location for future needs.

Bought a brand new camper from Grand Design. Which was Bought out by camping world in Green bay. All was good until service work need to be completed. I had 2 AC unit on the 5th wheel get fried because they wired it wrong from the factory. Took it in for warrenty work. Now let me say that I am a HVAC tech by trade so that is in my wheel house. I literally walked the service department (chris) though what was going on. How it was discovered. Had pictures and also had a mobile service come look at it and write up and pictures again since this was under warrenty yet and to help speed things up as we had plans to use the camper. It has been a month and still have not gotten back my camper. Called 2 weeks in and was told there warrenty specialist was working on it. I Called Grand Design talked with warrenty and they were waiting on paper work from camping world. Was told by camping world they work with a portal and everything gets submitted via that. I said a simple phone call would have fixed the issue they said they can't call the company. They did nothing. Mind you this is a 30 min job to change out 2 control boards and test functions. This can't get much easier. Just got a call Tuesday saying they have received the parts. Said they may l have it done by Friday. What a useless company never again will I ever get anything from this company. I wouldn't recommend them. I would go else where . Sales is all about get you in the unit get commission after that all down hill. Service is terrible and if you have to get warrenty work done good luck. I did some research. I could have done this myself and had it done already and have my camper back working. I figured since it was under warrenty they should take care of it with no hassle to me, boy was I wrong. LOOK AT OTHER DEALERS.
