  I went to AutoZone today to get a new low-beam bulb for my vehicle, and unfortunately, the customer service was very disappointing. When I arrived, I stood in line with my 6-year-old while several other customers were already waiting. Two different customers came in after us and cut in front of the people who had been patiently waiting. The employee clearly saw that we were already waiting but proceeded to help both customers who had just walked in. I understand that customers can be inconsiderate, but I expected the employee to acknowledge the existing line and help those who had been waiting first. When it was finally my turn, I explained what I needed. The employee looked up the bulb and told me that my only option was the $26 bulb. I had already seen a $19 option, so I asked about that one. He told me it would not have the same lighting quality, but I decided to purchase the $19 bulb anyway. I ended up installing the bulb myself in my vehicle, and it fit perfectly and provided the lighting I needed. So I was disappointed that I was initially told the $26 option was my only choice when there was a less expensive option that was compatible and worked perfectly. I don’t know whether employees receive any type of incentive for selling higher-priced products, so I won’t make that accusation. However, the experience left me feeling like I was being pushed toward spending more money than necessary. Between being repeatedly overlooked while waiting and then feeling pressured toward the more expensive product, this was not the customer service experience I expected from AutoZone.

  They normally have the parts you're looking for, good customer service, but the prices are outrageous!

  Paochua, thank you for your service today!! I walked in very flustered having no break lights and having been re routed multiple times to dealerships. When I stepped in line you were helping multiple customers at a time and you were acknowledging everyone who was waiting in line. I have been a manager at multiple companies and you provide d a high standard quality of customer service that is rarely seen today. Thank you for your service today. Also please thank the other gentleman that checked my bill out. He was so polite as I was all flustered. 100+ Jess

  I did not catch her name but I shop at this store often and have had the pleasure of being helped by a woman staff member who is extremely knowledgeable and helpful beyond words. This past winter during one of the coldest days she helped me put in my front head light because I had a long drive ahead of me. I would have paid for this service but the fact auto zone and their helpful employees do this at no charge is the kind of service that is very rare but so appreciated. Additionally today I had a return due to a leaking coolant can and she went out of her way to search for my receipt in the system. This saved me a trip and a tremendous amount of time. Time is money! She is an excellent resource for your store as I am sure you are well aware. Thank you for the great service, I will continue to shop at AutoZone in the future!
