I pulled into the Valvoline location in Glendale, Wisconsin around 9 a.m. this morning for a routine oil change on my Wagoneer. Before entering the bay I noticed two employees sitting in a car in the parking lot and the open sign was turned off. Shortly after, an employee named Luis directed me into the bay. After opening my hood he informed me that they did not have the oil required for the vehicle. While that can happen, what followed was the real issue. Instead of offering any assistance or attempting to help locate the proper oil at another nearby location, Luis simply said he had just returned from vacation and that he could not do the oil change. There was no effort to help, no attempt at customer service, and the tone was dismissive and disrespectful. He then pulled my vehicle out of the bay, closed the garage doors, and returned to sit in the car with the other employee while customers were still arriving. Watching employees shut down operations and sit in the parking lot rather than help customers was incredibly disappointing. I understand supply issues happen, but professionalism and basic customer service should never be optional. Unfortunately this location demonstrated neither. Based on this experience I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for service.
