- JFjoseph fischerMay 30, 20261.0I ordered a part and had to pay for it in advance on may 21 2026. It was to be at the store on may 28 2026. I showed up but they where closed. Paper note on the door said only open from 7:00 am to 6:00pm. I was not able to get there during those hours I showed up on Saturday should be open . The doors still locked. I paid over 120.00 for part and now I think they probably closed their doors for good no answer to calls. Not very professional. I will probably never go there again even if they are not closed for good I need that part and now I have to buy it and wait for it again. In the mean time I cannot use my pickup.

Jason Panzer did the installation of the battery but after further diagnosis, we discovered that there was an alternator issue. Jason went over and above in helping me with locating a local shop that could do the alternator work. Being from out of town and somewhat stranded prior to the Memorial Day weekend Jason "Going the extra mile" in helping me made a huge difference! Thanks, Bryan

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
