- JOJeremy Oler1 day ago1.0I was at this store at 5:50 today. The posted closing time of 6pm is right next to the bright OPEN sign which is eagerly flashing away. Inviting you to come in with it’s bright red glow reflecting off of the locked door. Two employee’s are standing behind the door watching me as I knock on the door in vain. They can’t be bothered. They are just to busy waiting to clock out. You can’t get service here, good or bad. The business lost about $700+ in revenue today. Plus more based on my past purchases and the future lifetime value of a customer. Good win for Autozone. P.S. this is the second time this has happen at this location. The last time it was 5:42 and locked. To be fair the older guys that are there sometimes usually in the mornings are decent, but the younger crew that works afternoons should find another line of work.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
