  Great place to buy a camper, even better place for service! Had an issue with unit after purchase, they explained the warranty process very clearly, which helped me understand that I was not going to get my unit back right away as it had needed to get approved with Forest River and also needed parts. Once I did, though they were able to address some warranty concerns that I hadn’t realized were an issue. Ryan and David were amazing!!!

  Ryan, I wanted to follow up on the installation of my water heater. First I want to thank you and Kurt in parts for your help. Both of you were great to deal with. However, the installation results were subpar to say the least. Definitely not a professional installation by any standard. The water heater door was not installed. The board holding the valves and water lines was not screwed back into place. These two items you and I discussed when we went out to the motorhome to review what needed to be done . The screws your tech used to secure the water heater in place were smaller in diameter than the screws that held the original unit in place which I provided in a plastic bag. The smaller screws didn't tighten securely. The water heater was not properly sealed with RTV before installing the screws to secure the unit in place. Finally, what appears to be the power wire from the water heater to the power supply was installed through the metal compartment floor without any wire loom ( there was an existing loom what the wire could have been routed through but wasn't utilized). The probability that this wire would have worn through and shorted out is extremely high. Please see the attached picture for your review. I contacted Ryan about the installation and he basically asked what I wanted him to do. I got the feeling he didn't know what to do. He offered to look at it. I said I'd look at repairing it myself which I did. As I said earlier I appreciate you working to get this job done but it needed to be done correctly. Im asking for a rebate to cover my time and supplies. A credit to my credit card to offset the poor installation. Please let me know what can be done. Thank you, Part 2: I emailed my complaint to VIP@campingworld.com and received a call from "Mike". I started to go through my story and rather than let me state my complaint he stopped me at told me I was wrong and that Camping World doesn't caulk the unit into place (even though I bought the Dometic heater from Camping World and on page 13 of the Dometic installation manual it states "1. Caulk thoroughly around the opening and the flange slots"). Rather than rebutting my complaint about caulking he proved my point. They didn't comply with the manufacturers installation instructions. I interrupted Mike and unfortunately my frustration got the best of me and I hung up on him.

  We recently purchased our RV and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience! From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and enjoyable.   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently sold my fifth wheel to Camping World in DeForest, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I worked with Melanie throughout the entire process, and she made everything incredibly easy and stress-free. She was very accommodating with my schedule, always willing to work with me when I needed it, and made the entire process feel simple from start to finish. She put literally zero stress on me throughout the whole transaction. Melanie was also extremely quick about getting me the paperwork I needed and even provided an overnight envelope so I didn’t have to make the drive back to the store. That small gesture made a huge difference and showed how much she cared about making the process convenient for me. I also had the opportunity to speak with Eric, one of the managers, who explained the offer on my camper. He was great to talk with, straightforward, and took the time to make sure I understood how they arrived at the offer. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my experience at Camping World in DeForest. Selling a camper can sometimes be a stressful process, but Melanie and Eric made it about as easy as it could possibly be. I would absolutely recommend working with them if you’re looking to sell a camper.

  This is an amazing dealership. I have never dealt with more professional, knowledgeable, courteous staff, in all my years of buying any kind of product from homes to cars to businesses. ! I got the pleasure of working with Eric BIG E the sales manager in RVs, who looked out for me like I was his little brother . Extremely honest and was willing to work with me on price and kept me under my budget. I also got to work with a young sales person by the name of Micah, who is rather New at his job, but this young man was extremely polite and if he did not know the answer, he got it to me within five minutes spent so much time with me. It made me feel like family ! Sean in the service department that did my walk around and showed me every option and answered every one of my questions and was extremely professional because this was my first camper I’ve ever owned at the young age of 58 and to be honest I did not know a thing about Camping. I have been a Chef for 34 years and this was a new experience . Last but not least, I got to work with Jeff, the sales manager in retail parts that was extremely knowledgeable and directed me in the right way every time this man was so honest that I was looking at a solar panel battery charger and I found one on there website for $229 and then he found me one on clearance for $79 and said they basically do the same thing and you’re saving almost 80% on this one that’s on clearance and the only reason is on clearance is because they are using a new brand and there is nothing wrong with this one. It is the same one that I use in my RV, as you can see, he also was looking out for me. That dealership at no point ever tried to take advantage of me, but only help me and steered me in the right direction every time I can’t tell you how comfortable I was buying at the dealership I will continue to give Camping World of deforest all my business and I urge anyone that is looking for a RV or a pop-up like I had purchased to give them a try because I can promise you, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and thank you Camping World for taking such great care of me.
