    My husband and I purchased a 2021 cedar creek from deforest in march of 2025 and at first was misled that it was not a DIY camper and when we went to take it out the first time our hot water heater was broken and needed to be replaced, a seal was leaking on our back window and our slide seal was starting to come off. We didn’t get the warranty so unfortunately camping world couldn’t do much about it. But when we went to use our washer it was not cleaned and had a broken water pump. I originally called camping world very frustrated due to it being documented that the camper was in working condition. I then had the chance to talk to Tom the general manager and he was amazing!! Although our camper had been sitting on the lot for 2 years (under previous management) he was more than happy to take accountability (although it was highly unlikely it was truly his fault considering they had to some form of walk through 2 years ago) and work toward a resolution on the issues that he could. Although it was not his team that made the error his team was quick to make it right. He was also incredibly understanding about the level of frustration I had with him in the beginning and was STILL willing to come to a solution. Needless to say although this experience started a little rocky but Tom was quick to do what he could to make it enjoyable again!

    We've heard all the Camping World horror stories, and at a different location even lived through some. Did the forest location is absolutely different come our salesperson Bentley was fabulous, Nick in finance was crystal clear on everything to the entire process. Hunter that did our walkthrough with us took the time to explain how every little thing on the trailer worked so when we left with our unit we knew exactly what we were doing with it. We had a hitch installed as we switched up the type of hitch that we had unfortunately I can't remember the gentleman's name that installed it but he too was fantastic. I think like with most any chain business it depends on location to location and not all of them are not the same.

    Lets see how they do this time with my toilet change and maintenance. The last two times C-Dub dropped the ball. I scheduled an oil change and week prior. When I drove 50 miles Meza SZ, to drop off the RV, dude told me his service guy didn't show up for work. Similar thing in Vegas. I tried setting up an oil change 3 day in advance snd the service guy was supposed to call me to let me know if he was available on Saturday but failed to do so. I called the morning of and was told the Sevice Dept. did not have the oil filter I needed. This time I dropped the RV off in DeForest, WI. Hopefully they get everything done within a month.

    6 Weeks of Bad Communication and Broken Promises. I was forced to skip the Green Bay and Oshkosh Camping World locations to the DeForest branch—over 90 minutes away—simply to keep my roof warranty intact. That was on March 21st. Since then, our rig has been stuck in a communication black hole. For the first two to three weeks, I received zero updates. No calls, no texts, nothing. When I finally forced an answer, I was told the person who took my RV was gone and my paperwork was simply "set aside." That isn't a customer service issue; it's a total breakdown in management. They have now sat on a simple $300 electrical repair for weeks without telling me the warranty wouldn't cover it. I would have paid out-of-pocket instantly just to get my rig back ($300 isn't anything), but they didn't bother to ask. After being told it was finally being fixed on 4/30 (a 2-hour job), they dodged our calls for four days. Now, on 5/04, I’m being told they "needed to order a part, and that it should be ready within 2 days." I bet I will have to call them back by Wednesday, as I have 0% confidence they will follow through after repeated failures in communicaiton. If you value your time or your RV, stay away from the DeForest service department. They lack basic accountability and clearly don't care about keeping you on the road.

    Unbelievably wonderful experience! KayKay⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(best in sales as far as I'm concerned), Tracy, Eric, Tim, Kurt, Nate and anyone we dealt with (also ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐for everyone), if I forgot your name, please know we include you too; excellent bunch of well adjusted professionals. Best experience we have EVER had out of 40 years of camping and campers and camper dealers, twelve of them full time. These professionals bent over backwards to do what they needed to do to get us what we needed. Very knowledgeable, respectful and considerate of our particular situation. These people know what they talk about and help you understand what needs to be done. They do their job well, I can't say enough about the care and compassion they have for what they do as individuals and a team. We will never go anywhere else because as much as they work with you to get it done, you will enjoy working with everyone of them, and they help you understand their process as well. Very very awesome staff and all are professionals here. We found our forever store and crew! Thanks so much for all of you and your assistance in our unique situation. It was SO FUN shopping with my personal shopper help too!!! Here's to all the laughs, fun and getting the job done! KayKay in sales is definitely the person to go see, professional, personable, and the absolute best in sales, she is really the reason we initially walked through the door based on her personality on the phone and she was definitely the reason we stayed after initially meeting her, then, we met everyone else and we were so glad we stuck with the people here, they really did the best work for us out of any place we had been prior. KayKay created an absolute fun environment and oh my gosh, the laughs we had!!!! In the end, she was there for us the whole way through with grace and style in a crazy busy environment she still made us feel as if we were the only ones there! You will definitely not regret meeting KayKay, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ thanks so much! You are amazing!!!!! I give ten out of five stars for sales and service! GO CAMPING!!!! :) Brian and Lori Dahl
