Buying a new RV can be stressful. Trying to find the perfect layout to meet all your needs is tough and there are so many brands it can be overwhelming. Then comes the price. I live in Houston and started my search locally. When I found the one I wanted I looked online and found it for almost $30k cheaper in WI. I called and met Adam, our sales rep. After being reassured by him we flew up to get our RV and drive it home. They worked very hard to ensure we were on the same page and everything was scheduled and ready to go when we arrived. They even came down some more on the price and worked in additional insurances and roadside assistance that normally costs about $5k since I was flying up! As with any new RV you have manufacturing issues that we found driving it home. They continued to support me to get those taken care of when I got back to TX and we couldn’t be more pleased with how the entire process went. I would whole heartedly recommend Adam to others and will be flying to WI in the future to purchase if the need arises and he is still there. He genuinely wants to ensure a great customer experience.

I cold called Camping World Deforest researching my first RV purchase. I had a ton of questions. Adam Meinke took my call and subsequent multiple calls answering my stupid but new to me questions. He always took the time to explain the answers and never pressured me in any way. He’s not your typical salesman, he is a good “real” person who just happens to sell RVs. I could have purchased my RV closer to Chicago where I live but I felt that Adam 100% earned the commission. I obviously highly recommend Adam. The Deforest dealership is also great to work with. Very attentive and no extra pressure.

I just purchased a used camper and couldn't be happier with the whole process. Bentley was great to deal with as a salesman and Shawn who did my walkthrough was fantastic! Even the financing was enjoyable. Can't wait to make memories with my daughters. Thank you!

I was told that my check for selling my camper would be delivered fedex Friday it was not. Then I was told it would be delivered Saturday and it was not. I attempted to contact camping world in Deforest Wisconsin and there was no one there that was able to help with my issue and was told to call back Monday. Seller beware of being told a date check would be delivered by a certain date. When a business tells you a certain date you will receive a check they need to follow thru with that date. Google should do a zero star option for reviews. This is a zero star review.

We found a couple used toy haulers being sold at the Deforest location online. We drove over an hour each way to go see them, prepared to purchase if one met our needs. We will never go back! Nobody greeted us and NO other customers there, 4 o’clock on a holiday weekend Friday. Two guys sitting on golf carts outside looking at their phones, three guys sitting behind the Welcome desk lounging. No “hello” no “how can we help you today”. We had to approach them and ask to be shown where the used toy haulers could be found. They all three looked at each other to decide which was going to have the misfortune of helping us. The “unfortunate” one of the three walked outside with us, asked if we were set on only looking at pre-owned models, told us they were down in the lower lot around the fencing but supposed he could get a cart to take us down. He asked which campers we looked at online then said one was back in the shop after the deal blew up with another buyer and that he just wasn’t sure where the other one we were interested in was at. Instead of forcing him to accompany us, we chose to shop around on our own through the lot. We looked at a few new models and quite honestly may have been persuaded to buy one but then decided to stick to the original choice to start our RV ownership experience by trying to find a good used starter priced unit. We showed ourselves around and down to the used section. So unimpressed by the presentation of the used section and one smelled like animal urine so strongly inside I had an instant headache and barely made it out before getting sick. As stated before, we won’t be back and we will not recommend this location to anyone. We decided we will try another location IF they have anything that interests us, but if we get the same experience you couldn’t make any type of offer to give Camping World another shot.
